Lol I always put nothing but mega turrets on my third base. It’s the ultimate defense strategy against ground units that attempt to attack my main bases.

Pavium is my favorite leader. His mistake was not researching Advanced Designator for Pavium early and doing Rain of Fire and Ultra Mine combos. Would have made a big difference, especially on bases and with all those prowlers huddled up with their Arbiter. That said, I wouldn't call this playing Pavium at the highest level. Also, get 3 generators at the corner of the main base with lv1 Burnout and your set. No need to spend more points leveling it up.

3 gens together is begging, gagging even, for an enforcer drop. After that all you can burnout is your own prolapse.
@@cainweber1978 True, but not much of a problem if you have some units to defend and get defenses up in time and build a fourth on a second base. The benefits outweigh the possible losses. The ratio of that happening are far less likely with a competent player. Anyone can point out what if scenarios for any situation. It's just a matter of experience, of 'does it work or not,' which I am speaking with. And I wouldn't worry much about a few early unupgraded Reinforcers. It's an upgraded Plasma Bolt ability I would worry about.

Mega turrets are a king tier move, you just wouldn't understand. As you don't play pavium
I refuse to not use the mega turret. Yes they suck but they are so much fun to me
