The Xmas family rotation is key 😅 This year my partner and I did Xmas Eve dinner at my family’s, then we split up for the evening - he headed to his family’s, I stayed with mine thru Xmas morning. And finally I joined his family for the rest of Xmas day! Luckily our families only live less than an hour from one another, but still requires comfort with fluidity in the plans

In my family we spend the 24th at my mom's side and the 25th at my dad's side. Everyone else in the family adjusts to be there and then at their spouse's fam the other day. For new years we do the same! 31st w mom's side, 1st w dad's side :)

I spent it in bed, some improvement as I've managed to leave the bedroom. Made me happy to see you get your Jessia Hastings book, God knows what Brady had to do to get it, I've two Magnolia Parks books on my kindle yet to read. I'm hoping I'll be well enough to finish reading A Good Girl's Guide To Murder before the year is over.😂❤

For thanksgiving this year, we went to my mother in law’s house first and then to my sister’s since my family is bigger and we knew that the kids wouldn’t have wanted to leave their cousins early. For Christmas we stayed home 🎄🤎

We usually spend Christmas Eve with my inlaws and we spend Christmas Day at home with my two kids. I don't mind spending the Christmas season with my inlaws because Thanksgiving is the holiday I really enjoy with my family. Brady is really thoughtful with gift-giving. Is that his love language?
