What most (not all)non scouse Liverpool fans and Everton fans dont understand is our rivalry is like that of two brothers who argue but deep down respect each other and i must say TOTAL RESPECT to LFC for this wonderful tribute to Rhys Jones.
+Dylan Minar +Mason Burke It just shows, that - even if we are different in our clubs colours - we all love and respect the same ideals. Greetings from Germany, lads YNWA !
Joseph Walford don't know about that, nothing beats a rivalry with pure hatred involved, makes the stakes so much more. But at the same time, it's so so important to be able to put rivalries aside during times of tragedy and remembering that at the end of the day, you're all Scousers, Mancs, Londoners, Sheffielders, Brummies, etc.
I was born in Liverpool but raised in Bradford and I can tell you all, with nothing but pride, that there is more heart and soul and strength in those two cities than there ever has been in the entire history of the British parliament . God bless you Rhys lad and remember the 97.
I am a LFC SUPPORTER. I am not from Liverpool ...i am from Norway...and as meny norwegians...we love Liverpool City! When its important...the two Merseyside teams, acting like one STRONG team... shoulder to shoulder. Respect. And from the bottom of my heart,,, i realy want Everton to stand strong in the premier league! I realy hope that we can meet Everton again in the premier league next season!
Well done to all in Liverpool. At this tragic time, hopefully it will have given Rhy's parents a lift. May he Rest In Peace. It demonstrated great humanity and shows us that it is, after all, only a game. I ahev seen the Liverpool and Everton fans together and their rivalry is truly a friendly one. From a Liverpool fan of 35 years.
well done scousers the greatest of respect to you all.. you made this moment a very special one and it will never be forgotten ynwa respect... man u fan.. RIP RHYS
Even in New Zealand we have so much respect for the Merseyside brotherhood. One of the greatest sports rivalries on the field but in times such as this ....... you set such a loving example to the rest of the world. To Rhys's Whanau (Family) we send much Aroha (Love and respect), your boy will never be forgotten and will live long in our hearts. To the people of Liverpool and Everton................ coming together........ inspirational, uplifting, compassionate and just restores some faith in mankind. God bless you all................... From all your fans in New Zealand ........ Big Jim xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Respect to Liverpool football club and supporters. A disaster shared amongst the football world, the sad loss of a innocent child returning home after playing footy. R.I.P. Ryhs "YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE"
This and the way Everton have supported Liverpool through Hillsborough genuinely warms my heart. Some rival clubs use tragedies against each other in horrible chants, but Everton and Liverpool support each other during these tragedies and it is heart warming to see.
Absolutely Fantastic any club would and should have the same fans contribute to this and whoever the idiots on here that have put a thumbs down should remove theirself from society R. I. P Rhys Jones
We're a unique city blue n reds in same families ,chaos leading upto derbies. Me birds a Belgrade gal this amazes and warms her as in the eternal Derby it is hatred non-stop year round and families are one or the other.
I'm not a Scouser by birth, my grandfather was. He instilled in me the love for Everton and a love for a city that held part of my story. I'm 64, and I know it's not perfect, but I like to think Liverpool will be the last place I live, after a life of moving around.
I am a West Ham fan , but I watched the programme about the terrible crime committed on Young Rhys Jones . My heart goes out to the family of Rhys & to Everton football Club . But I take my hat off to the Merseyside fans for your support for everyone who suffered in this awful Tragedy .
I’m a Man Utd fan but I will always say that Liverpool fans have a collective identity that I rarely see else where. These fans are a credit to their city and their club and their club is a credit to English football.
May you rest in peace reece and may you never walk alone...I know you won't because 96 others don't either... and may your killer always walk alone and afraid! Grip x
This is Liverpool football club at ITS best , big respect to everyone at Liverpool football club and especially the fans . Never forget this day, YNWA ,Terry evertonian
I remember this so clearly. Would have been same as me, secondary school just about to start and uniform hanging up ready to go. Whole of Merseyside was devestated. R.I.P Rhys you absolute LID.
Utter class Liverpool. As an Evertonian its wonderful watching why our city is so unique. Laughing also at the pundits talking about Liverpool demise - did they watch the Spurs game?
2021 now and that still hit hard. Absolute class shown by LFC and their fans at their own ground. That little lad would have been looking down with a wry smile playing Evertons entrance music at Anfield. Absolute tragedy that boy lost his life because some scumbag wanted to play gangster with a dodgy handgun.
Watched this and had to google the story. What terrible luck for the family, don't know facts but older brother looks like he has disability as well. Great tribute, all rivals could learn from this, keep respect.
Respect to both clubs. So sad this event. Ill never forget it. Something so tragic that never had to happen. Wrong place wrong time. The scum that tried to hide the culprits should feel shame day in day out
Don't understand why 203 thousand haven't liked tbf... Don't matter where your from or who your club is a child lost his life too the crap. A family ripped apart, give the gang life up, touch knuckles n smoke a joint together
What most (not all)non scouse Liverpool fans and Everton fans dont understand is our rivalry is like that of two brothers who argue but deep down respect each other and i must say TOTAL RESPECT to LFC for this wonderful tribute to Rhys Jones.

Tributes like this show why Merseyside fans are the best. I'm an Evertonian, but this was a top class move by Liverpool FC
You Evertonians showed us the same respect through your Hillsborough tributes, it shows why the Merseyside Derby is the best derby in the world

True fans. Insane to think I was only 12, so one year older than him when he died.
What makes this worse is Rhys dying was so preventable
From a Celtic fan that was absolutely beautiful total respect football rivalry means nothing when tragedy strikes RIP Rhys 🙏🍀
gone. but never forgotten.
This and the way Everton have supported Liverpool through Hillsborough genuinely warms my heart. Some rival clubs use tragedies against each other in horrible chants, but Everton and Liverpool support each other during these tragedies and it is heart warming to see.
All clubs support each other in general terms. And most intelligent fans. But portions of each fanbase, as in general society, are brain dead morons.
Lots of love from Manchester I will never forget this 😥😥🙏
When this city comes together, it's like no other city in the world
R.I.P RHYS from everyone in glasgow.
Thanks Liverpool football club for this tribute to Reese, fantastic to see this from Liverpool. God bless you all. Terry.
Everton.
"Reese"
FFS his name, Rhys, is literally in the video title. Cretin.
Liverpool are the best rivals and supporters a Everton fan could ask for..... respect to the reds for that amazing support
