She has a beautiful voice..easy to listen to.
I loved this.very soothing voice with great stories. I look forward to listening to more.thank you.x
Very Professional reader. Don’t mind the gender. Works for me.
Also there is something quite feminine about Poirot.
Feminine? You ust mean his mustaches.
I don't care about Gender..nice voice. Thank you for enjoyable listening
I enjoyed the narrative even being used to a male voice. She was very good.
Nice way to spend a rainy afternoon.
I love it. ✨💃✨💙✨💜✨💚✨
Fabulous, don’t think I’d heard the box of chocs one before. Thanks for uploading ❤
As a reader of Christie since childhood and a female, I heard Poirot speak in my head in my own voice. So hearing a feminine narrator is natrual.
I can understand a man may prefer a masculine narrative of Poiret. Luckily we have vast variety of both.
I do appreciate this narrator. Her variety of voices and cadences kept my attention.
Oh what nonsense. Do you also want a big black mustache. Poiret is a man's man!
Although Poirot seems to asexual?? I think there is something very feminine about him.
So some chirpy little missy should peep out his role? Earth-to-pixie, maybe You are asexual? @@pixiepower9194
I prefer Poirot to have a male voice rather than a female voice and I prefer miss Marple to have a female voice rather than a male voice.
I doubt Dame Christie would've cared much about the gender of the reader. Maybe unbunch your underpants if that matters to you?
Yes, I agree-very good reading!
Oh come on- you're a friend or relative. Or a crazed feminist.
Awful.
Great reader! Thoroughly enjoyable
Great narration ! I like it 👍❤️🙏🙏
Is this Emilia Fox? I heard her read Miss Marple and did a wonderful job. Poirot however, needs a male voice. Either Hugh Fraser or David Suchet
No.
Oh no a lovelly lady reader is all wrong.😂😂😂😂
She is definitely better than Peter sellers who couldn't achieve an European dialect. Open mindedness is good to have with most audio. I enjoyed it. Thanks 👍🐈⬛
Oh for Pete's sake, Peter Sellers was a COMEDIAN !!
@@desertari he did act the role of a french inspector for many years. A very gifted man but not a poirot.
Dawn, not accepting a female chirping out Poirot is NOT close-minded! As for Sellers, he was a clown- and sometimes, Hercule was very funny indeed. I'd like to see the Sellers-as Poirot film or video- will look for it.
I think maybe you mean Peter Ustinov? who was very good, but not exactly Poirot.
No
nice narration 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad you liked it!
Oh come on- you're a friend or relative. Or a crazed feminist.
Who is the reader? Nice job.
Oh come on- you're a friend or relative. Or a crazed feminist.
This is NOT Poirot and The Chocolate Box! It’s Miss Marple! 😡
Good reader, two great short stories, but it all ends at 1h22. Why 2h30 video?
Terrible reading- a young woman chirping out the very manly Poirot is simply absurd.
@@desertarimanly Poirot? He's written as a lovely, eccentric dandy. The accent is most important to me, and the reader did a great job.
No, she did not. Poirot's obsession with his moustache is singularly masculine. Is there some fictional heroine with such a moustache? @@MrQueerDuck
@@desertari in The Big Four "delicately plump;" The Underdog he wears pearl studs; The Mysterious Affair at Styles "a speck of dust would have caused him more pain than a bullet wound," and Hastings calls him "a great dandy;" he sighs when he has to touch dirt; wears patent leather shoes, spats, a wing neck collar **and** a bowtie... You're saying having a mustache changes all of that and makes him butch? We must be reading different books.
He IS a dandy but clearly a male one. We are definitely reading the same book but bringing different views on gender to it- and that is what this lengthy exchange has really been about. There is a contingent who is promoting the girls-same-as-boys position and others who see the very obvious differences. Politics permeates everything these days.@@MrQueerDuck
Ms Marple, not Poirot! Good grief.
Sorry but Poirot requires a male reader.
But still she was good
@@user-fo6yx4ru5x No, she was totally unconvincing. After 5 minutes, I had to end it.
Please don't be sorry to acknowledge that males are needed and valuable!
😂she is a good reader with a beautiful and interesting voice. I would like to hear her other works which lend themselves to a female voice
.@@annbernstein164 Yes they every now and then have their uses :)
Awful? A female poirot 😂
😮voice should be a male
Don’t bother terrible reader
Male reader please.
Silly accent makes it hard to understand
