this is not because he is not selective, the biggest mistake he had made in his life time was he only have time to rajasenan and satyam anthikkad, majority of his hit came form these combinations. so when rajasenan and jayaram got separated both of them have been struggling. besides jayaram did not forget his acting style but the problem was no directors utilised him and try to bring the best out of him, now only satyam anthikkad gives him some good movies. i think after Mohanlal jayaram is the only actor who is very flexible and can do any role.

എനിക്ക് മനസിലാകാത്ത ഒരു കാര്യം ഉണ്ട്.... പണ്ടത്തെ ജയറാമിന്നെ പോലെ ഇന്നത്തെ ജയറാമിന് വില ഇല്ല.... എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഇദ്ദേഹം selective ആകുന്നില്ല

this is not because he is not selective, the biggest mistake he had made in his life time was he only have time to rajasenan and satyam anthikkad, majority of his hit came form these combinations. so when rajasenan and jayaram got separated both of them have been struggling.
besides jayaram did not forget his acting style but the problem was no directors utilised him and try to bring the best out of him,
now only satyam anthikkad gives him some good movies.
i think after Mohanlal jayaram is the only actor who is very flexible and can do any role.
