    Lordosis and Kyphosis can come as a pair and they can be corrected as a pair. It's all about your body and its centre of gravity, when your lumbar spine curves so can you upper spine to maintain your CofG.     Isn't it better to avoid performing the kyphotic stretch early in the morning (1or 2 hours after waking up) given that the pressure in the discs is at its peak relative to other times in the day?

      You have a good point, I've not found anything to say a person shouldn't extend their thoracic spine in the morning. All the research I've seen is centred around lumbar discs and low back pain
