From what I hear of folks on "Advantage" plans they can be a real hassle. Seems it's much better service to stay on original Medicare if you can 👍
I don't like the idea of the government taking money out of your check. And I don't like the idea of the government forcing you to take medicare that YOU have to pay for. It should be a choice. Of course if you opt out of part B they penalize you 10% a year. Part A and B should be free!

So I'm all old now...My mind's functionality has been gradually declining.. Isn't it just the most wonderful thing, to confront all the complex nuances and legalese of Medicare in our decline.. Over 30 yrs ago, I had to hire a bookkeeper that specialized in med. insurance to handle my mother's med. insurance related paperwork. It was beyond absurd!! And that was then!!! Just what we need to bestow on our elderly, as they decline!!

What about pre-existing conditions covered by Obama Care re Supplemental Plans?
That's a very common question. Obamacare/ The Affordable Care Act did away with pre existing condition exclusions for Qualified Health Plans for folks under age 65, but did not impact Medicare Supplement Plans, which can still use pre existing condition exclusions.
does Supplement insurance pays part A deductible $1408 ... That number is here in many video and it is never explained who pays for it
Most all Medigap Plans cover all or part of that Hospital Part A deductible. If you go to 11:49 in the video it shows the Medigap Chart, and on the left hand size you'll see 'Part A Deductible' and which plans cover it at which percentage. I am turning 65 in 2021. I am planning on working after 65 and I have insurance thru my work for my wife and I. If I sign up for Part A, can I keep my work insurance? Who pays for my hospital bills first? HR person told me I have to drop out of work insurance, if I have Medicare part A. Is she right or is she on crack cocaine?
WTF....High income earner? Worked 2 jobs, weekends, holidays, swing shift, overtime to ensure a comfortable retirement and for what?
