My understanding and experience has bruoght me this far to this conclusion. Being grateful for a person's prescence and whatever love cand care they express to you is a bonus. If they leave your life bask in the knowledge that you were able to experience them.
I've been in relationship with this girl from another country, pretty far from mine. Let's just say we never officially dated, no one confesses or anything, but if you saw our chats you'd most likely think we're in one. Few months later, there's this one talk that leads to the slap of reality that our relationship wouldn't work so well because of our distances. It's just not ideal to be in relationship where you can't see each other, or even help each other out when we're in need of one. We finally confessed our feelings to each other, but it's just not the same afterwards. Our intimacy is gone and even the daily talks like sending each other pics of our day is gone as well. And thus our "unofficial breakup", we haven't talked to each other for a month, and I still miss her to this day. What should I do at this point?
What you are going through is so common Unfortunately there is nothing you can do other than tell her that you need a break from communication. When you keep interacting or keep looking at their photos and texts you are reinforcing the attachment to them but the problem is like you said you guys can never be together. Time eventually solves this, and a month isn’t nearly enough time to remove this attachment. I feel for you as many other are experiencing the same but stopping contact is the only real solution unless you end up meeting someone else then your attention will go into that new person naturally. I like them in chronological order because often you might discuss what you said in a previous video but because they're set up from most recent to oldest i won't technically be there yet. But this is enough to work with. Very glad you started now vs when you have 1000+ videos to sort through.
