The MK2 AI reacts almost to your imputs only, and you can pretty much rely on it, so you play the game just by forcing the CPU into in a certain behavior and you will be succesful if you punish instead of attacking it, while in some other cheating fighting games, less obviours and unpredictable methods like frame advantages, frame skips and priorities in general were used to cheat the player.
@@greensun1334 unfortunately most people who played those games at the time didn't know the techniques necessary for victory on a consistent basis. And of course ended up dropping quarters like crazy (in the arcades). Home ports were just as cheesy.
Yes. However, it's with balance in mind. I gave a variety of Neo Geo fighting games a chance without stuffing the list with 3 or 4 franchises only. And obviously, everyone's opinion is different.
@@greensun1334 the list could've easily been filled with nothing but KoF, SS and Fatal Fury games for the most part. Giving other fighting games a chance to be on the list was important.
