Man. I'm 53 and suprised you tend to have the same world view as me. But I attribute that to you being a fellow Georgian. Outside of ATL we have few, very few libs to annoy us. I do like your bike videos. I miss riding. Been a long time. My last ride was from Tampa to the keys. With a buddy. Nothing but a backpack and open road. took us days, often just poping a tent. Those were the days. 1998. But we don't do croth rockets.

The Plate:
Probably when the spring compressed from a pothole or something the tire did catch the plate abit and pulled the edge. Maybe didn't fully pull the plate in because it decompressed fast enough.
About the Submarine:
It hands down looked like some backyard school project. I would have been surprised if it didn't bust a nut. And at 250k per ticket it should have at least had some industrial bits and bobs which had some sort of strength certifications.
The rich people who went in there should have known better.
