As a Persephone main myself they should keep her 2 the same but change the flowers so they chase the enemy again and they should give her back her old passive the new one sucks

I mained her before rework and trust me when I say she’s much better now. She’s very fun and does soooo much damage lol

@@tylerrichard5295 I mained her before too, but i still do miss just letting the plants do all the dirty work, it did feel nice when they actually hit the person. But the rework is nice.
@hi ya having the plants automatically run to a god was cool but most of the time people knew that they were so easy to juke. Besides now you can clear the wave and poke the enemy all in one. And they go through walls. I prefer that mechanic
I did Persephone support with a full CDR/Tanky build and needless to say, I had ult every fight and made the enemy very VERY mad.

I have already been a fan of you for a few months, just watched some more of the smite tournament going on rn and was wondering why I havent seen you in the pro scene because I would have loved to see that. So I did a bit of research and caught up with the drama that happened about 4 years ago. I have to say Incon😂 the tables have turned so hard. A few vids ago you said everything in life is either a potato or not a potato.....and Weak3n 2021 is a fucking potato😂😂 so proud of how far you have come. If you do read this I would love to know ur opinion on the current tournament and which teams you think have the best shot at winning. Keep up the good work. Love you man.
I been watching him for years. Truely an amazing guy. I remember when he came out with that video when he left the pro scene. My eye balls where leaking right along with his. I love being on the positive side of the smite community with Incon. And I stay far away from the other side which includes the boy you had named. I once saw that guy host a follower game and the entire time he made fun of and cussed his fan out the entire match because of his skill level. He's truely a driving force for the toxic community. I absolutely love Incon and Sam. They are just amazing people and they make me smile and feel good every day
@@wessredd7237 I agree with you 100%. I cant believe I was this late to finding out all these things but knowing that the guys on the other side are driving the toxic community makes sense. Smite in general for me recently has been extremely toxic and finding nice players in randoms is difficult. Only one of my friends and my gf are into it so I have other people to play with but for the most part the community sucks rn. Blaming eachother, reporting for the dumbest reasons etc.
One more thing/tipp .. the plants can walk thorugh walls :)
I put a point in the 1 and then the rest in the 2. It gives the 1 some good damage still but I do find that the 2 does do more. Despite the bite sometimes missing and not doing damage.
Her 2 also does explosive damage when dropping the plants down.

just had my first match and this character blows up almost everyone
I personally do not have any issue in clearing the wave using the 2 ? It's actually pretty easy and you can do it with only 2 so that you keep a third for the ennemy mid. Even if they do avoid damage, the 2 is really useful to either push back ennemies or mess up their positionning which helps a lot for junglers or supports who are looking to gank. Also I don't think that Deso is as important on her as it might be on other mages, especially because you can take Magus instead which is a lot better on her I think (Magus passive, while it doesn't proc on the bite itself does apply if hit by another ability or the initial damage of the 2 and makes the bites deal 7.5% more damage)
This does mean that you need a Chronos somewhere in there (I just usually go Chronos 4th and don't take Myrridin) because the sheer amount of damage provided by tahuti and magus roughly equals the damage of 2 sets of the 2 after myridin (pretty sure if you apply magus it's even higher). Also, Magus procs for everyone in the team, meaning that not only you can shred tanks on your own pretty easily but your teammates also gain from that, and I find this often compensate for the loss of 10% pen in a way.
This build is a lot more One Shot that the one he uses in the video but I think buying Magus and maxing the 2 are basically a free headstart for Persephone and the only way to stop her is to perma gank her and focusing on the mid lane, which in turn means that the side lanes will receive a lot less help and will be more prone to ganks from your team. And her passive is there to make sure that even if you get perma ganked you never really fall behind in Gold and even if you are behind in XP you can still buy your items like the other mid lane so you cancel out their potential snowball if you ever lose a laning phase.
Side note: The flowers do not proc item effects, but you usually try to set up your plants with either your ult (which will proc the effects) or your 1 (which will also proc the effects) so all in all it doesn't really hurt her.
Love everything but her passive. Her passive makes me sad. You're just stuck there on the battlefield not able to actually do anything
At least let her activate plants if you're going to stick us there for the whole respawn time

Which is what you should do, is way better for you to know what is happening around the map than be stuck in that place

Yes I love her new kit but the passive is trash. I only find it useful sometimes early game where you can place your plants for lane clear so you don’t have to use mana when you come back but I use sands of time so mana isn’t really an issue 🤷♂️

It mostly seems to be for other game modes. It's super useful in arena or joust where you might need plants to fight the moment you respawn. The gold part of the passive isn't too bad either, but I'm curious as to how much it actually gives you over the coarse of a game.
So this is a very good guide, but what about how to build her in joust? Most people go health tank opposed to protections in joust it seems, so I’ve been dropping staff of Myredin for chronos pendant to get my CDR faster, and then I follow up with a rod of Tahiti, unless they start building more protections, then I go chirons. Most times it’s more worth it to sell your starter in joust, so then I’ll get the staff of Myredin, or sell starter for soul reaver, throw in a divine ruin where I can, normally after I hit max CDR. 🤷🏻♂️
Idk if you do build Magus but you should give it a try. The effect is insane on her and especially in joust where it's pretty much only teamfights which means that your two allies will hugely benefit from it. You swap puprle boots for blue boots ( so you still have 10% CDR but you get 12% lifesteal instead of 8%. You do lose deso passive but it's really not that good in Joust anyway especially when compared to Magus). Then you go for Chronos, Tahuti and then Charon's. I know it can seem weird to buy charon so late since it's a stacking item BUT :
- Magus is there to replace the 10% pen you lose from buyin Tahuti before Charon
- Magus and Tahuti together make your abilities deal 32.5% more damage (and yes Magus passive does work with the plants if you hit the ennemy with another ability)
- Charon's passive while being very good, you don't really need the HP5 (you have lifesteal from Magus + sustain from your plants) and the movement speed while being nice isn't as important in Joust as it is in Conquest. So even by building it last you'll still have the most important thing from it : the 20% pen (you could go for the %pen gem but since the flowers don't proc it it's not as good as getting a bit more hp5 and move speed)
- The cost for this build is pretty similar I think ? But with her passive it's not an issue
- If you want to sell your starter because you're full build before lvl 20, I don't think Soul Reaver is the best because, once again, the flowers don't proc the effect so while it's still decent it's not as good as you might think. Instead I'd maybe look towards a soul gem (for the sustain and burst and mostly the CDR because witout your starter you're not at 40% anymore, and if you took another starter than SOT then you were never at 40% so it's time to correct that). Another possible item is of course Myridin for 10% pen and CDR. If you feel like you're doing enough damage as is you can go Iso and really be obnoxious with the constant slow on every ability (except the plants of course) and Iso with her ult is quite decent. Divine of course if they have healing or high sustain.
Her kit is still very similar I dont think anyone likes the passive I would quite frankly want her to get a passive similar to agni or even Vulcan passive maybe just let her use her old passive with new kit would make her passive so much better

I Played one Game with this Almost New God and it Took one Game to Learn her. And all I Can say Now is She Feels Like the Game Plays for her Now there is no Need to Plan ahead with her 1 or 2 Anymore. And all the feels good about hitting things dose not feel like it’s there Anymore.
As a 12 star persephone it took me a couple more games to get rid of the old muscle memmories

@@tylerrichard5295 thats su[pr nice on a squishy mage you can still use abilities while in her ult, sometimes auto attacks go through. even when i ult someone i actually dont want to go in mele range thats the whole point of a long range ult. and what do you do after the dash? i guess you plant flowers in your passive lol
I think Persephone 1.0 was just as strong but many players didn’t understand that her 3 gay her a lvl 2 plant that could easily hit as hard as a standard mage ability. Essentially 4 damage abilities with cc and a jump but this version is...well trashy

Also, is Rod or soul gem even that decent on Persephone since her plants don’t proc item effects? I typically run double flat pen and it works pretty well.

her 1 used to be fun to land due to the sound behind it making it feel heavier, sure it's easier to aim now but it's just a skeleton running into you with barely any visuals. It looks lame
