- 💌 this was filmed in march, the night before i flew home to california. i'm glad i fit in the time to capture the apartment while it was still my home, this shabby unit meant a lot to me and i will look back to it fondly. it was the first place i lived as a (semi)official (almost)adult, and learned to pay my own bills and living expenses. i will also never forget what it was like to be roommates with my sister and my boyfriend, for things will never be that way again... but it was a beautiful time i'm grateful to keep in my memories. x

My family is from Rhode Island, so watching your content felt like a little slice of home-- like I wasn't alone in this huge step in my life. Keep creating, your spirit and attitude is lovely

This vlog felt so...different (in a good way). I still remember when I left my college apartment, it didn't settle in until it was time to move on to a new place and start the next chapter. I didn't realise until later that inside I was super scared of what a new place and new people will bring. No matter how much we plan, things don't usually go according to the plan. But whatever happens, there is always a silver lining, always.

for the handmade pouch : you could sew a strap onto it or maybe even create a strap in the shape of a loop so that you can loop it through the folding flap of the handbag so it becomes a make-shift strap (i hope that makes sense haha). hope that might help and/or spark some ideas :)

Anabelle, this video was so emotional yet so exciting for me to watch. I am the same age as you and is also from the Bay Area. I started watching you my senior year of high school. I remember when I watched you moved into your college dorm room while unpacking my belongings in my freshman year dorm. Those spare time I have in between my classes I spent watching your videos, revisiting your art videos as I scrambling to finish my own art homework, or while cleaning my apartment. I remember taking notes of places you went to in your travel vlogs before my trips. I'm actually a huge fan of painting rooms darker colours because I really like the cozy feel, especially in rooms that I frequent. The one thing I have found is a con of darker paint is if you want to paint over it, particularly a lighter colour. I'm repainting my bathroom atm and I was using a special primer and still had to do 3 coats to cover the dark green.
I like that you dont have a super organised minimal room, like every other youtuber nowadays seemingly. It just feels like a real person is actually living at your place.
