Hell yes. I have down pipe, cold air intake and she sounds AMAZING. Especially since I’ve had the intake done.

Get the O2 bung extender from ZZP for the dp. Put it on bank 2. It'll clear the cel. ZZP is great stuff. I got a 2012 Buick Regal GS with the catless dp. They sound great.

My 2.0 Camaro makes a good sound with my Borla Atak and muffler delete. I do have a downpipe but haven't installed yet.
I added a ats 2.0 and started modding and man so much hate for these ltg motors ... i think they are great
this still have mufflers? could you pair with a muffler delete exhaust system?

I know it's been 6 years, but did you ever start to smell anything from under the driver's seat after this mod? I think that in my case, those material covers under the chassis are too close to the downpipe and start smelling burnt 🙃It's not exactly exhaust or cables smell, more like something is overheating. I'm trying to find the source of that smell and after checking all cables that's the only reasonable explanation. I've also installed ZZP.
I have a question what is a tune for? Can someone explain that for me pls? Do i need it if i want to get a muffler delete and a catted downpipe on a 2.0 camaro?
so....... this is how you take a 3 minute video and make it an 8 and a half minute one. didn't show us any of the procedure to remove or reinstall it, but it does sound good.
Music gave me Cancer but i guess that an age difference issue. Good video. I guess one way to tell if any REAL benefits (short of a dyno run back to back) would be if the turbo spools up quicker(less restriction.) and/or if the engine "eats" the gears quicker than before(more hp & tq.).
Did you notice a 10-20 HP gain without a tube like advertised ? Maybe a bit less turbo lag ?
It did feel more responsive, but the tune is really where it opens up

did muffler delete and replaced it with 3 inch straight pipes was trying to find catless zzp downpipe but i guess they don’t make it anymore. would wonder how my car would sound catless and straight piped. don’t want it to sound like a weed whacker or a fart.
If you do a tune they can delete the cat so it doesn't turn on the check engine light
How do you prevent the check light from coming on?

Probably trifecta, seeing where he is at it might have been one of the performance shops in that town, but I don’t think they touch anything smaller than a v8 so not sure

@6:50 I don’t understand how folks get away with doing the mod, catching a check engine light and then getting the car inspected? In my state of MA this will fail you and you don’t get an inspection sticker. What do you folks do ? Swap the thing back in ? I am looking to get a 2.0L turbo in a few months and this is a good upgrade - minus the sticker headache.
Here in Texas we can have one not ready when we get our cars inspected. I had no cats on my Speed3 and still passed.
Could live in a state like Indiana, where there is no inspection.
i had my catless DP installed but the muffler shop said the support bracket that attaches the DP to engine doesnt fit. did u run into that problem???
Yea I had that issue, but I don't think its a huge deal. You are taking 8lbs off. The catless DP weights almost nothing, it doesn't need a ton of support. Ive had no issues on mine
Cristian Hardin actually i found a pic online of the brackets and i went back to the muffler shop since i need to go back and install 2 mufflers . anyway this time around they managed to put it on. the reason i was concerned was because i had a muffler delete prior to the catless DP, which sounded good by the way., but with the catless DP the sound was wayyy to loud and out of control especially at passing speed around the 3800 rpm range, and again when it shifted at higher speed the exhaust had a vibration sound that sounded very distorted at high rpm so i would never recommend to anyone a muffler delete along with a cat delete. now i added 2 magnaflow glasspack mufflers for a little over $200, it sound just amazing...no need to spend 8 to $900 on borla axle back which is obsurd. love the sound so much that now i tend to rev the car more which is starting to decrease my gas mileage... LOL my clip is coming soon with this whole process....

With the proper tools, it should take probably 1 hour, 1.5 max.
What size piping did u get? 2.5" or3"
if I put a zzp downpipe on my camaro does it mean I won't have a catalytic converter
Ifu put a catted one that catted is for catalytic converter cattless is no catalytic converter
You will still have your 2nd cat
How long did your check engine light stay on?
The check engine light stays on until you either tune it or plug the sensor back in

Reginald Rigaud I did a tune 2 days after I installed the downpipe so worth the downpipe alone I didn't really have a chance to analyze that, but as of now, with the downpipe and tune, it seems to have trended up about 2MPG

also the reason i ask i because i just did a muffler delete. (sounds very good to my opinion btw especially its only like $80 ) anyway i expected to get less MPG but mine impoved quite a bit.
i already ordered and received my Zzp catless after seeing you video . so will install soon and do a zzp DP and muffler delete/CAI vid.
Reginald Rigaud AWESOME! you are going to love the down pipe. I had ZZP do my tune as well. They are amazing guys over there. Steve and Matt are awesome! I did not do a dyno, they sent me a laptop with HPTuner software on it and all the necessary cords. They will have you do a log file, then adjust the tune, you'll log it again and they will adjust it again. They will make all the adjustment you need until they are happy with how your car is running and performing. I gained a good amount of HP. I should be right over 300whp with my current mods and tune! There are many tune options with them, but probably looking around $500 which includes your license for the tune and your car! It's absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend doing it with ZZP if your looking to do a tune after your DP is installed!

2012 WRX no tune is required no, however I tuned mine right after. Mine threw a CEL because I removed the cat. I did a catless down pipe. In my tune, I had the sensor disabled though so now I do not have any CEL

Tom M , if you don’t want to tune, get a spark plug non-fouler and thread it into the o2 bung, and then install o2, it takes the sensor out of the exhaust stream

Something is off here, you have an RS badge but the RS is the 3.6 liter V6 model, but you claim to have the 2 liter 4 cylinder. Is the badge fake or is your car not the 4 cylinder you claim it to be?
RS is just an appearance package you which can be added to the 4 cylinder also I am not sure if they still do it but you use to be able to get an SS/RS too

Catted ZZP pipe is 7.2
Offroad ZZP pipe is 5.4 (This is what I have)

Does the downstream 02 sensor come with a spacer to back it out of the air stream to keep the CEL light coming on? I'm seeing different people have varied experience with this? Ill get a tune in July but I can order the pipe today
Tony Davenport my CEL did come in after about a day of driving. I got the car tuned not long after and had it turned off inside the tune since I knew what the issue was.. :)
Tony Davenport you can run it now, you won't have any issues besides a CEL. Just have it turned off when you get a tune in july

You can order O2 sensor foulers on amazon. I put the catless down pipe on my girlfriends ecoboost mustang and had to put one on it. Get the one that is a 90 degree bend. After a couple days of driving with that on the check engine light went out. Can't tune yet for warranty reasons.
