Think it is Benidorm that will find itself being re-educated.
The working class British people who visit Beindorm arent interested in Paella and Tapas, they are interested in cheap beer, sunshine and food they are familiar with.
If you dont have that they will go elsewhere.

My partner once had a paella in Spain that made her so ill that she has vowed never to eat it again. I can guarantee that no matter how hard try to "re-educate" her, she will not touch it.

Well we've just arrived in Benidorm and 3 men have just walked past us with trays of these illegal cocktails they have left a right mess on the benches at the side of the Levante beach...

ok as a british trucker who goes to spain weekly i get asked when i go into spain do i have enough money for my trip there and to buy food i cannot bring british food with me i have to buy spanish goods i have children who live in spain as well but if im staying with them i hyave to get 3 kinds of id for there its all politics spain is pissed off cos we left the eu and they are skint

Benidorm has historically attracted a more 'basic' kind of British tourist, good food is something that they will avoid. More adventurous tourists will stay in other Costa Blanca resorts and will enjoy Spanish food. They usually visit Benidorm to marvel at the 'basic' tourists.....
