- In this video we will see how to make bombay mixture recipe in tamil. For making this mixture we are going to make some omapodi and add some roasted masoor dal and peanuts. This mixture is a great snack for evening and is great for munching along with tea/coffee. This mixture is very crispy and crunchy and had a wonderful texture.

Ingredients:
For Omapodi :
1 cup Besan
1/4 cup Rice flour
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/8 tsp Asafoetida
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Oil
required Water
1/2 cup Masoor dal
1/2 cup peanuts
3 spring Curry leaves
required Salt
1/2 tsp Chili powder
pinch of asafetida
Oil for frying

My mother is an excellent chef. She has done many nice meals and snacks for me. She is also teaching me how to make them and I also learn North Indian cuisine from YT. I am going to ask my mom to make this with me ^^. During Diwali time all sorts of snacks she makes and this is my fav! We add lots of kadali variety (We skip peanuts cause I am allergic to it) we add nuts too like cashews. Avul is very important for us. We toast it with some turmeric, chili powder, and salt and add it to the mix. Delicious.
