The Izmailovsky Kremlin (in Moscow, Russia) is not a fortress or an architectural monument, as the name suggests, but a historical, architectural, cultural and entertainment complex. The Izmailovsky Kremlin combines many features of the old Russian Kremlins of different times, their most interesting and colorful details, and at the same time, the modern leisure industry is represented here. City holidays, fairs and festivals are held here
Great memories from that market, went there 3 times for the 2018 world cup, I bought all my souvenirs there, had a great lamb meal and a green big bottle of beer!!! I wish I could go again, I really loved Russia and their people!!! Love from Mexico!!!
When I was in Moscow for work, I had visited this market many times. Great memories from my trips for work. I wanted to return as a tourist one day. Unfortunately, that will probably never happen. 😢,
Been in Moscow now 1 month and half, this was the 1st Kremlin we saw, beautiful, will do our last visit before returning home to South Africa, luv the video, thanks 😊
The vendor with the wooden bowls, and musical instrument was very interesting. I loved how he explained the history behind each item. Wouldn't mind having couple of pieces from him!!!
Very nice of the shop keeper to allow Alex and Valeria to film and provide lots of fascinating information. His musical performance was fantastic as well...😊🎵
I LOVED this video! How beautiful! The art, the architecture, the icons, the antiques….absolutely stunning! I wish that I could be there. I would buy up the whole place! Thank you!
I love this!!! I know they're tourist items but my wife and I love matryoshkas among other crafts. I also found a balalaika here in the US and learned to play some old Russian songs😊. Anyway, beautiful video!!! Thank you from Pennsylvania, USA!!! ❤
Thank you, I visited while in Moscow in 2017, it was late in the season so most closed up. Still purchased a very nice Father Christmas carving and other Russian Christmas decorations that grace my house in Chandler Arizona each year of that blessed time. So miss my several times a year visits to Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Pridnestrovia, and Romania as a traveler. Was well into plans to spend a couple weeks riding the BAM before covid and the more recent events.
So very nice of the shop keeper to share the information to you. The items he had were absolutely beautiful ❤️ I love history... geography...art..so this video was spectacular! The architecture is stunning 😍. THANK you for always sharing. You and Alex are ALWAYS so informative. Can't wait to see what's next. Hugs to Sheffield and Miss Kitty. May God continue to bless y'all in body, mind and spirit.
The market has so much art and colorful, painted things. The buildings and architecture is immaculate and beautiful. I do feel sorry for that horse at that end....cement streets are bad for their hooves and legs.
Oh how lovely, such a culture rich and fascinating place. I would love to visit this place someday. The man was very pleasant, wish I could understand him. His bowls and cups and buckets are beautiful! Thank you for taking us to such an interesting place as this. Take care! xx
Hi to both of you, Glad to see you are enjoying the day at the flea market. Thank you for taking us with you. Stay safe . With love from Houston, Texas.
Spaceeba Valeria..nice video. I am a retired merchant seaman and I used to have a lot of fun doing that. Then two things drastically changed my sea going adventures.....I quit drinking and I got married (to a very sweet Russian girl). After that it left my shore going adventures to sight seeing, food, and shopping the bazars far and wide. That means the inside of our house here in Alaska looks like a very odd museum and I am FAT. Thanx again for a nice trip through a bazzar.....memories. Take care
That market is awesome, and such interesting history about the market and what the sellers bring. Thank-you for sharing it, I am looking forward to the next one.
We have flea markets too But also yard sales...many times several families join together for the yard sale...things are cheaper than flea markets...plus we have to put up signs and sometimes post on line
Hey Valeria and Alex~ That was so much fun! The shop keeper was so kind and generous to share with you! I used to go to antique shows and flea markets all the time. I miss it. You may have re-ignited my interest. I love learning what the sellers are willing to share, and I've learned a lot. You showed us some beautiful things, and it was so lovely to see... and hear! What is the instrument the shop keeper played? Just to look at it was awesome, never mind to actually hear it played! I am looking forward to more. In the meanwhile, I hope things are going well for you both and that Mr. Sheffield and Kitty and all are doing well.
Valeria and Alex , The flea market tour was very interesting with the wooden household implements and the milking container . Beautiful as well as interesting ! Was that near your house ? Good prices ? Thank you for sharing ❣️
We have belelica (spelled wrong) from husband's father..from Russia...hubby had one and so does daughter Love the old Russian cups..beautiful Baby cradle..amazing I wish I was at that market Thanks for taking us with you to the market ❤
Thank you so much for sharing I especially enjoyed a man who is describing the bucket for milk and cows in. My father used to bucket like that, when I was a child, to milk the cows. But it wasn't as beautiful nor was it birch.
I very much would love to buy the hand made bucket he was showing towards the last part of your videos. Could you please find out all the information I would need to buy from him? He has many things I would love to buy from him. Thank you and thanks for a wonderful Video. Prayers for you and Alex to always have good Health and Happiness❤🙏🏼 from the U.S🇺🇸
Do people get upset if they hear you speaking English The market is in a beautiful location. I did go to market near to the Kremlin in 1999 but it wasn't this spectacular. Thanks for today. I did like the souvenirs I saw but hearing the stallholder/vendor explaining ttne purposes of the different bowls and vessels was so interesting.
@@ginashiel105 yes I know they’re called Faberge eggs. I wasn’t sure about a Russian flea market though so I went the safe route. They’re beautiful and I would love to have them. They don’t match my house style at all but I’d make a room for them.
OH MY GOODNESS! I am so so SO sorry about you guys father!!! Doggonit! That is so sad and disheartening for you both no doubt! It is good you have many video clips of him doing what he loved to do and being busy! I imagine that his helping you guys with construction etc is part of how he showed his love for you both! It is comforting to know that God will remember him and do what the Bible talks about by bringing him back to life in perfect health soon. Please hang in there. As you know this kind of thing takes time to heal and you have to be patient with yourselves.! Prayers and hugs from us! ♥🌺💔❤🩹💖☹😭😰
Such an interesting video showing the beautiful painted bowls and the musical instrument. Was that man the artist who made and decorated them? If so he's certainly a very talented person.
yes, this was my favorite also. i wonder how much to ship to u.s.? i have purchased yarns from Turkey, the shippings equals the purchase. (but still a bargain for high quality)
It's a pity that there are problems between Russia and other parts of Europe ax j would like to visit. What a wonderful market and i dare say lots if interesting places
Valeria, I saw a lot of lacquerware for sale in your video. When I visited Russia, I bought several boxes from Palekh, Mystera and some of the other villages. They were all signed by the artist and were quite expensive. Do you know whether they sell the authentic lacquerware at this Vernissage? Izmailovsky Is such an interesting place to visit! Thank you for taking us there.
Thank you for this video. Very interesting. I just want to notice this is not a cup, but an old vintage ladle (Kovsh). The oval-shaped utensil is called Nochva.
WOW, what a really cool place. I love all the timber framed stalls. Like shopping in medieval times (I know it's not that old). This was great content. Give Sheffie some pets, and a treat for me.
Thank you so much for the tour. Outside of the architectural differences in seeing the people walking around they look like they could be in America. I just love that we are all great human beings just live in different countries. Loved watching.

Nice trip through the market. Do you ever go to antique stores and will they allow you to video record. I see that you might be able to make extra money sending and shipping small antiques to your viewers, perhaps.

Love it.

Thank you Steve . ❤️ it was the only seller with such things. I think he makes them himself ( his hands were in wood stain)
He was AWESOME!!! That marriage of the bears bowl --- unbelievably beautiful. I liked the cat scoop the best too. My eye kept going toward it.

My wife and I were in that flea market back in 2013. Thank you for posting this, it brought back great memories!
That gentleman was so interesting. Very informative. Love the history, the art, the traditions. Blessings.

I enjoy this architecture of the old Kremlin, and I like the wood platter paintings. I would probably buy nearly all of them.
I was at Ismaylova in February 1994. February is not the time for an outdoor market! They've added so much to it, buildings and all.

Why on earth would you think that English can upset people ???? That’s so bizarre

Yes. He makes them. His hands were on paint
So beautiful! Love the hand painted bowls ❤
4:22 it is called Bass-Balalayka, I played in some russian folk group.
Good job ; keep showing you antique shops and fea markets
The dough bowl is bigger than my mom's shoe box she was kept in as a baby.
The wood bowls that are painted….so beautiful!
what about to New Zealand
