- Yes, it's over 13 minutes of prattling on, but the world is a complicated place, and even a "basic" do-all carbine has become a 10-12 pound affair that requires a fair amount of explaining and examining. I am not trying to "sell" any components in particular, but mainly touching on concepts and the "what" and "why" of how my personal carbine is set up.

Thank-you! It's been a lot of trial and error as to what I like. Revisions since, are an Acro P2 and Reptilia 1.70" w/ROF instead of the Badger C1 and DPP-NV.

I prefer a slightly higher mount for the primary optic, as this one is 1.54. As to the piggyback, the DPP NV has some ghosting in bright sunlight. Further, I prefer enclosed emitters.

Nice setup son, got similar but nx8 2.5-20, with a Steiner MPS piggyback in the c1. I just got it finished with the Steiner this week for my bday. It gets my panties soappppping

The 1-8 is better than the nx8 and atacr other than the weight.
