That round piece you found by the fireplace isn’t that for a stove pipe where it goes into the wall and that’s the decorative piece that snaps on

Hey Chig do ya think you could make a video and show your museum quality or extremely historical/valuable items you have found since you began your awesome channel and maybe the stuff you found before you began your channel?? Love your vids of the current finds but it’d be nice to see why you keep going at it even when you have slow, low & No find periods.

I loved the video. It is so cool to try to imagine how the people lived and their communities. Whoever lived them could have been a blacksmith. People back then were jack of all trades. My grandfathers were born in the late 1800s. They had skill sets that were very broad, blacksmithing, butchering, etc.

Hey Agua, I only watch you and GMMD because you guys are the best. No extra crap and great enthusiasm. Love you guys. Tomorrow I go to some old mining camps here in Central Mexico, it is in the villages and I have friends there. I've found Mexican Reals dating 1829, 1857 and 1868 with more too worn to date.

Tomorrow THE BOOTY HUNTERS METAL DETECTING (on UA-cam) are starting a dig at Casey Donahew's Base Guitarist's property which seems similar to this! He has uncovered a long rocked wall and other stuff along the river plus is located at the fork of this river! We're gonna be looking for a grave of the guy named after river and suppose to be buried there by an historic tree and treasure, of course! Super exited!!! Yall want to watch it will be on our channel soon but give us a month I bet to get it done... It's 200+ acres! We did get Jimmy Stewart's Lake house Posted couple days ago! There should be a smoke house somewhere in that valley. Maybe the "barn" was a smokehouse. One side for hanging hams and the other side for prepping the meat and storing dry hickory and other wood. Smokehouses I've seen in the Midwest have a smoke pit in the floor. Not sure about your region. You might find some iron hooks for hanging. It might be worthwhile to see if such a structure exists.

I wonder if that stone foundation was a storage shed or small post office? Most small communities, even if it’s just 2 families, would have a post office stop back in the day. It’s too small to be a stage stop. Just the fact that it’s ON the road makes me think it’s not necessarily for anything of high worth. Maybe a summer kitchen, more likely?

Another great video... What you thought was a barn just might have been a type of drive through barn. Some were called cantilever barns because of the roof style. There is another term that I can't remember but is quite common also. Designed so the wagon could pull in, unload grain or whatever and continue through and not have to back out. Very smart.
