True but South has also remade but Bollywood remakes more. There are have been many Malayalam films that have been remake of Hindi films in the past. Most recently Braham was remake of Andhadhun but yes Bollywood remakes a lot.
Most Hindi audience may not know about Prithviraj's movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which is a mass masala movie done perfectly.
Realistic fight scenes (no matrix stuff), excellent BGM, great story, wonderful climax, brilliant performances and it also won 4 National awards including best director, stunt choreography, supporting actor.
We know who is prithivraj .he is more talented than Tiger Shroff. We watch his movies...Morth Indians who are movie lovers know about every talented actors of South india
