From my understanding most of the coins that has holes in them is because they stringed several of them together in the pocket so keep them safer and seperated from different valued coins on another set of strings. The neclase one is usually welded to the top of the coins.

Hi, definitely. Have only been there searching for meteorites. Made a video about that. Have been searching for ww2 a bit north from there thou.
The picture of the last coin you found (1662) is not the same coin as the one you found.
It is. But it had time to oxidize unfortunately before I took the pictures. You can see the one spot in the coin where the hole is, filled with dirt when I picked it up. Only noticed the hole after I cleaned it.
