In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed - ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

I'm so glad Stevie Resurrected Sorcerer which was written in the 70s but finally appeared on her solo Album in 2001
It was originally supposed to be on Fleetwood Mac (1975) or Tusk (1979), then officially appeared on the Streets of Fire soundtrack in 1984. She sang backing vocals on that version. She should have won a Grammy for her 2001 solo version.

@@anthonyyoutubefan7567 The Streets of fire version is good but Stevie Nick's is the Composer of the song and Stevie's Revived Version has much more crackle a pop to it in my Opinion
@@PJGRAND Oh, don't get me wrong: I wish the 1984 version had Stevie doing the lead vocals, with Marilyn (a friend of Stevie's, who did harmony and backing vocals on Rock A Little) doing the backing vocals. The 2001 version is virtually the exact same version Stevie wrote in 1972 w/ Lindsey playing guitar, on the Coffee Plant demos that are here, as well, on UA-cam. It was very cool to hear Stevie, at the age of 53, using her upper register falsetto on a song she wrote when she was in her early 20s. That song never got enough airplay on the radio in 2001-2002...still doesn't.

@@margroningen last I heard stevie was going back to the studio to finish the edit on the Pittsburgh show she filmed in 2017 I can't wait to see this I just hope it doesn't end up like Melbourne 2006 ;( which never got released

Stevie Nicks is pure class. I was first introduced to the song “sorcerer” back in the 80s in the movie Streets of Fire. It wasn’t Stevie Nicks singing it, but another female singer. Didn’t find out until years later that Stevie Nicks wrote it. Stevie is pure class.
If you didn't know, Stevie did the backup vocals on Sorcerer from Streets of Fire.

Stevie Nicks was performing way before auto tune, drama bands, and fakeness she is all real, most of the newer artists all sound like the band ' The Chipmunks' everything speeded up and synthesized abnormally.

A lot of people think this song originated in 2001 with Trouble in Shangri-La, but it actually was a demo that Buckingham Nicks had from the early 70s. Stevie also tried it out for The Wild Heart album, but of course she passed it over then as well.

I have this concert on Blu-ray. It's her best concert.
I 'd say it's the most professionally recorded and filmed. HOWEVER, the LIVE AT RED ROCKS, even with the Stevie Nicks Camera Tricks criticism has, for me, a bit more heart. I saw Stevie at the Orange County Fair, Middletown, NY several days before the Red Rocks show, with Peter Frampton opening. She was so heavy, having gained an estimate 30+ pounds, while in Australia with Top Petty and the HBs and Bob Dylan....this was the end of that long tour....and then, when they needed additional filming done, Stevie had lost so much weight at the Betty Ford Clinic, the edits were awkward.....and obvious. The 1986 band, per my and many longtime fans, and critics, like Timothy White, said this was the most capable live band Stevie ever pulled together. I sat on the Lori Petty/Sharon Celani, Elisecia Wright/backing vocals and Bobbye Hall/percussion stage side at most shows. They rocked.

I discovered Stevie Nicks last year, I absolutely love her music, she became my favorite female singer ! This is also my favorite concert, especially because I discovered most of these songs and they blow my mind (the 12min30 of Edge of Seventeen, the 10min of Gold Dust Woman, absolutely awesome, Rhiannon, Sara, Dreams, Stand Back etc).
Nice track, classic performance, she is captivating.
Steve, IMO, is the true QUEEN of all genres of music. If you ever get the chance to see her, do it. She was just here in Palm Beach County last Friday.
