Yeah Alpha Dream did go out of business so it's going to be *real* interesting to see who they get to take on the mantle. There's a ton of speculation at the moment. But from what I've heard, Nintendo and a few of their close partners, like ILCA and even Monolift, absorbed most of the devs from the late Alpha Dream.
So it's safe to say this new game is in good hands, regardless who they decide to have develop it. Seems like Nintendo made sure that they're still close to the people who made the Mario and Luigi series special in the first place, even if Alpha Dream is no more.
IICA has a surprising number of that staff on board, so this might be the one time that I would actually be hyped to see IICA work on another Nintendo game, if everything I've heard is true.
