A really good example is actually Korone, who really struggled with basic controls and mechanics for most games she played in her first year of streaming, and now she's one of the best hololive gamers and picks up new games very fast. Calli will get there if she continues to grind out games like this.

Suisei and Calli are my favorite just for that, they worked so hard and they got what they deserve. But the harsh truth is that, some Holomems invested time, passion and creativity on their content but they still can't get a decent amount of audience.

It is an impressive feat, but at this point it's not about skill. She just brute forced it so many times that she learned the timing for every jump and the layout of the map. Again, still hugely impressive and something I could never do because I would give up with the game after probably 30 minutes and never play it again lol, but yeah.

Calli even became one of the Top 400 speedrunners on the Jump King speedrun leaderboard! She has truly evolved over the months of playing the game. I feel proud of our dad here

According to the speedrun records this makes her ranked 427th in the world. She should submit the run. If she studied the route for the snow area she could probably improve the speed a lot. Also there's a couple of hidden shortcuts in the walls that she's not using yet.
It is on the leaderboard now, and she's 522nd as of March 18, with 1st place under 4:06. 522nd doesn't sound impressive, but for short platformers with tons of runners, like Jump King, IWBTG, Boshy, Mario 1, etc., it's better to judge skill with time cutoffs.
Came across this run and it helped me beat the game. I was shitting myself wondering where I needed to go with blind jumps during the ice + wind sections. VTubing content isn't my thing but I have to give huge props to her and this run. She's a proper gamer without a doubt. I found the "Turn around wind... Thankies" part very relatable actually. Funny how we all have our own way of helping with the timing. After beating the game, came back to watch all of it and this is both a fun + helpful run to watch. Cheers! ✊

So I checked to refresh my memory, and Calli first streamed Jump King on September 17. She finished it on Oct 29 with a total time of 18 hours, 42 minutes, and 31 seconds. The stream she got this time on was on Dec 29. So a bit over 3 months since she first played the game, and exactly 2 months since she beat it for the first time, she's gone down to sub 8 minutes. That's some impressive growth.

Was worth staying up all night to watch this, glad I got to see calli reach 7 minutes, thats honestly insane especially thinking about how when she started it was 18 hours. Congrats calli, you truly are a gaming beast, even if you don't think you are.

Calli's ranking was so close to greatness, which is 420, but our Reaper Dad just keeps on improving which is awesome.
The first time I watched you play Jump King, you played for hours to beat the game and get that smoking hot babe but now I watched you beat it in 8 minutes, to be specific, 7:56! This makes me so happy, you have come so far. Congratulations on your speed run Calli, proud of you!
So I checked to refresh my memory, and Calli first streamed Jump King on September 17. She finished it on Oct 29 with a total time of 18 hours, 42 minutes, and 31 seconds. The stream she got this time on was on Dec 29.
So a bit over 3 months since she first played the game, and exactly 2 months since she beat it for the first time, she's gone down to sub 8 minutes.
That's some impressive growth.
Now that's one for the books! The good long hours of practice finally paid off, good job!
