Thanks for watching🙏 yes I have been running into a lot of these recently. There are so many of these big warehouses I never knew about. What are the names of the ones you know about in Nagoya?
@@ScruffyLookinRGB I can imagine theres a lot of them around the Tokyo area! Looking forward to seeing more. In Nagoya, we have the Otakara Soko shops that I filmed. Then I heard about another really good one I will go to later called Ojamakan Masaki.
@@RetroMoments yes i remember watching an episode from your channel where you visited one. Great video by the way. The names of the shops are also quite interesting too
Terranigma cart in the case. I hear that’s a good SFC game. Wario Land 3 for $30 does seem steep, but I haven’t priced it around here yet. With this pandemic, retro games in the US seem to be going for a lot more.
Thanks for the recommendo🙏 never heard of that one before. Will look into it. This pandemic is definitely pushing the price of many things up including games apparently.
Went to one of these like 15 years ago, picked up the first 25 volumes of Berserk for like 500 yen and a Dreamcast arcade stick (the good one) for around the same price, they had stacks and stacks of them, imagine they're all gone by now. They had a mountain of SFC carts too. Would like to go back sometime but I think you need a car or take a bus from the station (or walk for an hour or so).
@@ScruffyLookinRGB I think it was that one in Funabashi, but can't remember. Wish I had bought more retro stuff back in the day as well, at least I got most of the PC Engine stuff I want.
Still live here! More than 15 years now. But don't do too much game hunting myself anymore, should enjoy the ones I already have. I do like watching your videos though!
@@jd213_ oh very cool to know that you have been here same amount of time as me. Awesome man dont have to say if you dont want to but what prefecture are you in? I bet PC Engine games could be had for much cheaper back then? Yes I agree there is no end to game hunting. Ive colleted many things over the years my self so it is cool if you reach that point and say i have plenty. Thank for your support man much appreciated🙏🙏🙏🎮
I just got Beatmania GB boxed in the mail today. That cart you saw was way, way, way cheaper than what I paid 😂 Great to see a different location, seems to be a wider variety of older systems available.
Really? Aw mate sorry hate when I see stuff for cheaper when i just paid more for it. After you play it let me know how it is. Havent got that one yet.
Is just what happens sometimes especially with importing games. It plays well though there's not many songs, they last about half as long as normal and the controls take a little while to get used to. Worth looking into but isn't a must buy game.

Im actually not familiar with Manga Souko, but I have been finding a lot of these huge recycle warehouses and they look very similar but the ones I have come across have different names so they could be related not quite sure. Will look into that good question. Where is the Manga Souko you visited?
@@ScruffyLookinRGB I actually haven't visited any of them yet. In the course of planning my trip to Japan (cancelled due to the virus), I scouted the locations using Google Maps. The majority of the stores are on the island of Kyushu but there are a couple on Honshu (Osaka and Toyama).
you know I think I was accidentally tagged on twitter when you were posting about one of these videos? it might've been this one actually... but that's how I found you lol! digging these Japanese game shop videos though.
Always nice seeing these new Recycle Stores I haven't heard about before :D

Is this Kanteidan store related to Manga Souko in any way? The exterior looks kinda like it.....but I didn't see the mascots.
