My pain points with Scrin was that fast infantry that can annihilate your vehicles if they come close, and their crazy airships. So it seemed that I needed a vehicle that could quickly kill the infantry from a safe distance and attack the planes and perform decently versus the enemy vehicles. Does such a unit exists with all those qualities? yes it does! APC + Rocket soldiers (Zone troopers are costly plus they cant attack airplanes so I found rocket soldiers to be a better fit for this mission) I needed 12-15 such APCs I saved a lot of money since I didn't require a tech center or airfield or rail cannon upgrade! :D once I crossed the bridge and activated the power plant, I put a rig near the emitters and remaining APCs got healed by the rig. Then I brought in my Juggernauts to complete the last objective
your videos are amazing but this one ..this one! can i just suggest you a little trick for next time :) :D? >> pull one of the engineers to the power planet before you go to the main objective. don't even wonder here and there. avoid enemies as much you can. the Sonic emitters that will active when you activate the secondary objective will beat the crap out of anything coming to the front line even if its enemy building and definitely will save you crazy mount of energy/ crystals. yeah not even that! you can use your soldiers to dig a shelter near to the emitter and put your rockets guys inside = you got absolute defense line that can deal with ground and air units. they will advanced fast when then they took down many alien air units come around lol. during that time you will be building your nice army whiteout wasting resources on the defense line on the other side.
I ended up doing a version of this. The sonic emitters just barely survived the first wave, and after that I sent the two artillery units and sniper to take out production facilities. Also made that area the rally point for my war factory and barracks, effectively establishing a forward base down there.
Sending the Firehawks just to get them destroyed reminds me of the current war in Ukraine, where both sides do some operations to take some strategic point where they get completely destroyed but they try again and again the same thing, seems like a suicide operation but it really is not. ex Berdyansk Airport by russia which eventually they took or Ukraine trying to cross the river in Kherson or even some Island in Crimea
I don't know what game your playing, but my normal cologne is harder then any HARD you are showing... NO SHIT. I get to the point where I just turn on the power for the base and WHAM all my troopers and commando are killed in 2 seconds by a massive swarm Corruptors and Gun Walkers... I have tried over 40 different variations of your video and I can't step a foot into the new reveled zone with out being wiped out.. I wish I could post a photo of what I'm up against just so you can see it.... You have nothing compared to what happens to me when my radar opens up the new zone, there must be over 100 Scrin waiting for me
Same exact thing happening to me no strat seems to work and when I play "normally" it's just a constant stream of disintegrators and gun walkers so I can't even use mammoths and the sentry tower does fuck all.
