- Today we take a look at the Van Rysel Racer Carbon shoes.
Another thing to note after fitting cleats and using the shoes, the cleat position is a bit further back, so closer to mid foot, than the older 900 shoe in the same size 43. Comfort has been increased massively, of course this will vary from rider to rider as everyone has different shaped feet.

Order today one pair of this. I come from a Shimano RC3 and I was undecided between these shoes and an RC7 but the final appearance, 100% rigidity and the BOA closures made me choose these ! Amazing shoes !!
Just ordered mine, excited, out of curiosity why did you comment about people not wearing them to race?
Great stuff, I hope you like them, I would imagine most of our customers will not use these just for a race but for long training rides and sportives too.
I’m unsure about sizes myself
I have two pairs but they are sizing them half sizes UK a 43 is 8.5UK and a 44 is 9.5UK.
43 feels snug and 44 feels well not so snug. My Fiziks are a 9.1/4 but these are worn in nice and comfortable 🤷🏻♂️

How is the stiffness in the front? What happens when you try to 'fold' the nose? How much flex is there?
There is very little flex, they are very stiff.
The sizes are extremely small. I had 43s before and the rcr 44s were too small for me
That is odd, I have a 43 in the new and old, the RCR is definitely bigger, could be a one off mistake?
