- Acrylic pour balloon smash.
For this tropical ballon dip, I used 60% glue, 30% water and 10% floetrol as my pouring medium. I then used 50% of this pouring medium to 50% of my Global impasto paint. If you are using thicker paints like Liquitex Basics, you will need to add more water and if you are using thinner paints, you will need to add more paint to get your mix to the correct consistency.

Lovely work,thank you 😊
Beautiful!
oooh I reeealy like these. They're like tropical flowers! 💓🌺🏵🌸💓
Your doing fine keep going what your doing.
Ver y pretty! Love the imprint on the balloons too. You should imprint the excess on note cards before wiping off the balloon.
Absolutely gorgeous! I love how they have a depth to them and some fade into the white. Looks like they are floating on water. I cannot wait to try this tomorrow! Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous!! My fave is the middle bottom, the yellow, magenta & purple. Oohlala!!
Just tried this. Amazing. Still learning how to do the painting but I'm loving it. Thank you for being so informative on everything.
Those flowers are gorgeous 🦋
Wow! Just wow! Love them colors!💜💙💗
Beautiful. Gorgeous colours and result. Thank you for sharing your technique.
I love watching your videos! I always feel happier watching and listening to you talk about what you are doing. You're awesome!
Simply stunning, Julie!
So wonderful! Can't wait to try it!! Thank you!
Love the shade of the turquoise! This is so pretty! I think this method is awesome, not afraid to try. You're fantastic at removing the intimidation. I think this would make a stunning chair rail effect in a girl's/teen's room. Thank you for sharing your skills!
WOW! Those are beautiful!!!! I Love them! What a wonderful idea....
Again gorgeous! I definitely know what I'm doing tomorrow! Thankyou 😀💜
Just gorgeous. Thank you!

Pretty awesome Julie , they turned out beautifully ❤️
Beautiful colors....your really good at that! Thank you for sharing 😍😊
Beautiful!!!
I see SOO many people using WAYYY too much base paint and they're wondering why their dips aren't working. I'm at home on my couch saying "it's bc there's so much base paint that your picking it up w the balloon! Loll
Thank you for sharing!! 💜 💜
They are all beautiful but love the first ones you done,👍🌷🍂🌹🍁🌺
Wowwww love it!!
These are really lovely Julie. The dark outsides are stunning!
I think every one turned out great! I could never decide where to stop or continue.
Wow absolutely fabulous
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL
They have that Hawaiian look.
Love it even the one you dont like the blue one with most turquoise because it really looked natural because all flowers even of the same will usually have various of the same color some more some less in the color.. It is beautiful!!!!
Gorgeous x
أفكارك جميله ومبدعة 😍😍😍
I LOVE THIS! Soo pretty! Thank you for posting this video - - so inspiring! Just beautiful!
I just made a painting using this technique. I didn't flood the canvas with white paint, just brushed on a thin layer. And I used an actual balloon. Worked great!
Veeeeery pretty!!
Love love love ❤️
These are gorgeous! I love your videos, I learn something new every time ❤️
very nice, like the colors.....
I'd love to see you do a video where you take the paint from what you blot off with your balloon and dab it onto a dry canvas!
The balloon is so pretty after you dip them on the canvas. You could have paper off to the side to stamp the balloon a couple times randomly all over the paper. (Could make wrapping paper with the left over paint on the balloon) just a thought instead of wiping all the paint off. But beautiful!!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Just beautiful, we live in Florida, I'm going to make these for the dinningroom.. THANKS
stunning!!! i need to try this!
Beautiful. Just got balloons. Gonna try soon.
Superb
I am from Romania
These turned out gorgeous. The first flower you did blew my mind that you could create that with a blown up rubber glove. But I have an idea instead of wiping off the print that's on the glove after you do the print on the canvas I would take the print that's on the glove and place it on another canvas. To me it seems like it would give more color if you used the print that's on the glove. I think I will try that today, as I'm working with my grandchildren letting them do a painting. While I work on some practice things that I'm wanting to do this one seems really nice I think it will try it first. Thanks for the video take care and God bless Deb
Love it!!❤💙💜💛🤗Will try!!😍😘😘
Love this
You are so clever. I hope tp try this today!
So beautiful ♡
LOVE this and your talent!!!!
Thankyou so much
Very pretty work.
beautiful!
How lucky am I to chance upon your channel! Love those flowers. I thought the magenta ones were better before you added to them.
Have subscribed so when the housework is done ....
I see pretty pansies. Loving it!
I’m going to give it a try. :)
Thanks Julie. x
OMGosh I’m subscribed, I love this stuff you’re designing. The range of colors is sooo gorgeous and every shade I adore. Great job hun, love it. ❤️🇦🇺
Julie, I love how this turned out. It is so adorable 😍. Maybe you could dip the glove balloon on another canvas with the paint that sticks to the balloon and get twice the beauty.
Love it
So cool! I think I liked the less bold ones too! They look sort of ghostly.
Really wonderful:)
Wow beautiful
I like it, I will give it a try the next time I paint. I found some Balloons when I cleaned the pantry out
🤩👏👍super beau.
They’re beautiful! You could use the leftovers on the balloon on coasters. You’d certainly have many sets when you’ve finished your large canvas.
That is an amazing idea,on coasters, tfs.
So pretty.
I love the flowers, but not crazy about the overall composition. I’ve got to try this. Thanks.
Красота спасёт мир !!!!!++++!!!!!!))))
I think you've got it. Try some silicone in the darkest color. That might be nice.
I love it
Love them , you are too hard on yourself. Oh! Love your balloon noises.🤣
Lovely! Great idea! BTW, seems like such a waste for the paint design left on the balloon - try transferring on to another canvas or paper, perhaps?
INVR4GET omg. I was literally thinking that too with the balloon. I would deffo have another blank canvas on hand to get a “two for “ 😀😀. Loving the colours. Tfs
Yesss! Like when you have extra paint marbling and swirling in the bottom of a layered cup...my husband pours the rest onto a paper plate with little wooden rectangles on it. When dry, he drills a tiny hole into each one and makes keychains.
I put the extra on cardstock and make cards and gift tags!
@@TheNanabanana127 one of my hobbies is cutting and polishing gemstones, and what your husband does with the paint swirls reminds me of a gemstone material that's often referred to as rainbow calsilica, detroitite, and most commonly, Fordite. Those latter two might give you a hint, but I won't try to keep anyone in dispense😂. It's named after the automobile company named Ford (fordite,) and the city in which they have been manufactured for generations, Detroit! What it is, is the layered, dried-up, rock-hard, chunks of automotive paint that accumulates on the walls and floors of the paint booths in auto manufacturing plants! Nobody laugh, because not only can it be stunning to look at when cut and polished well, they charge a lot of money for it!! "Anyway, drilling tiny holes" in your leftover paint cups isn't far removed from Fordite. Google it, you'll be surprised! 😀😎
some of them remind me of orchids. i really like the colors :)
I love both ways! I do talk to you when you talk to us, lol! Wave to you when you wave at the beginning as well!😊❤️
pretty and clever.
ii have to say I love it but I love negative space, will be giving this a go this weekend, thank you for sharing
They are all beautiful, Julie. As you say, they don't have to be matchy matchy. You are a bit of perfectionist, I think. Have you considered having a second canvas prepared so you can transfer paint on the glove to the second canvas before wiping the glove off? I saw another painter who did that. Although her primary canvas was very messy, the second canvas was pretty. Thanks for sharing your talent with those of us who are artistically challenged.
This is just fascinating and BEAUTIFUL! What if you left only the most gorgeous balloons to dry and do something with the skins? The images on the balloons are just as beautiful as what’s on the canvas!
The cells look like dew drops! Beautiful
Thanx..gonna try it soon.
Absolutely Gorgeous Julie. You must have Hypoglycemia like I do. I get the same way when I don't eat.
Beautiful! I would have a dry background or white background xanvas ready to go on the side, then you can print the ones on your glove onto the other canvas. These are beautiful!
Every time you showed the balloon you were about to wipe off my brain yelled to you - you should have another canvar or some photo/yupo paper and print it again. I love this. Thank you!
большое спасибо!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really like the flowers with the yellow and red in the center. The paint you pull off could be stamped onto Strathmore cards 👍🏼
Just watching your Balloon Dipping. Fantastic . The Blue flowers would look good if you alternated the light and dark colours around the outside. Alternate.
Beautiful. Shame you didn't have a second canvas prepare and stamp the leftover paint from balloon on it. Matching set maybe.
wow
Чудесно!
Really cute.It would be cool with a 2nd canvas to dip the balloon on with just paint transferring from the balloon after each dip. So like a more minimal look compared to the original.
The violent ones were fine just because they were smaller but they were perfect and then you went over them sometimes things just need to be left alone you overthink it. All in all it's still came out beautiful
I wonder if you could get skins from letting paint dry on your balloon? I would think it would be possible if you are able to support the balloon to make it stable whilst drying...................oh my, the ideas are really flowing. I love that the painting community is so willing to share their art and processes. xx
👏👏👏
I've just started using balloons and I love it. I really enjoyed your video and your colours of choice are ones I would not have put together! I loved your relaxed manner and I am going look for more of your videos. I think that after dinner tonight I'd be heading to my Art Room. I have never used glue in my paintings, do you recommend I do. Anyone else who uses or doesn't use glue do you have any input for me, Thanks
Glue is great for many applications. For pouring it's to give a flow like consistency to the paint, basically a cheaper version of an acrylic pouring medium (compared to flotrol like many use (hopefully that's spelt right;). Some people use flotrol and glue still unsure why exactly but more experimenting I'm sure to find out. Hopefully this helps any. I urge everyone to give it a try, it's fun. I hope you do
Very pretty but I also agree that maybe you could use the paint on the balloon to use the paint on something else...
