TOC has been my fave band for 4 or 5 years and now I'm finally looking up what the songs mean :). So I reckon 5150 is about a "crazy" person in love that doesn't even trust themselves but wants to keep that person happy or safe right? "It's okay for you to sing it, no one will try to stop you" maybe means that the other person can love someone without it being "wrong". I also read a comment saying 5150 was a police code for problematic people, and in the video I recall there being a theme about the broken mirrors and the decaying house that ends up in flames, maybe meaning that the 5150 either broke free of trying and failing to live like any other person or finally broke down and did something catastrophic. I'd love suggestions!
