oh yes Bordeaux also completely smudges within the first hour and the red just goes everywhere!! this is why i didnt purchase anymore of the liners from VB but they look super pretty.
Hello Triya! Yes, unfortunately, the Bordeaux does run. But this shade does not. That is cold comfort when you have had to spend the day with red running down your face, I know!
Yes indeed. I've been experiencing that with her liners as well and i haven't brought any of the other ones since I've initially brought Bordeaux,ash, navy, cocoa and black. It also smudges easily when you begin to sharpen it a few times. There's even been times where the tip falls out of the pencil as I'm sharpening it. This should not be happening to such an expensive high end product. However i did purchase the sea grey ONLY because I LOVE greys and it looks sooo pretty

Oooooh that's pretty on you Rebecca!! Very pretty!! Love the metallic shine. I only wear black but ventured out this fall to try the Marron shade in the Chanel stylo which is supposed to warm up brown eyes. I do like it but it has a tinge of red and I don't use in the waterline because of that "pink eye" look. I still just like black which I know can be harsh but still...feel naked without it 😃
There is something so chic about black eyeliner. I do not blame you one bit. I also venture out and away from it occasionally, but I always return because it is the most sophisticated!!

Rebecca, I use the bronze VB eyeliner applying in the AM at 530 it last for 12 hours and longer.It doesn’t budge at all I have to remove it with makeup remover.I found that using the VB pencil sharpener is best for sharpening.Sage looks beautiful as well I just bought it.Thank you for the video !!💕

Wow! your eyes look stunning with this new shade and I am a sucker for metallic eyeliners so of course it was purchased straight after watching your video! With that said, I couldn't get on with the Cocoa shade - it was just too concentrated and "wet" during application. I had to lightly dab a couple of dots of it on the upper lash line and then smudge it out with a flat eyeliner brush. Anymore than that and it became a hot mess very quickly. I was determined to use it up, which I did, but all the effort was spent in careful and minimal application. I have Bordeaux, which doesn't have the same issue but it irritates the heck out of my eyes - something that I find generally with burgundy eyeliners and eyeshadows. Must be something in the pigment itself that my eyes don't like. I can use it, again very carefully on my upper eyelid, but great effort has to be made to avoid it getting into the outer corner of my eyes. It makes my eyes ooze and crust - yuk yuk yuk! The eyeliners that seem fine with my eyes are the Chanel Stylo Yeux and Charlotte Tilbury - of course neither are clean beauty but that's not a deal breaker for me.
Ahhhhh yes. Those ruddy shades with red in them and some reddish browns all have the same ingredient that, not to be disgusting, comes from crushed beetles. It's true. And it irritates the heck out of SO many eyes. Supposedly, clean beauty, this brand wouldn't have that ingredient but clearly it's replaced it with something EQUALLY as evil for your eyes. The Chanel Stylo Yeux is such a GREAT product. And I ADORE the Pat McGrath Permagel liners. They are perfect, in my opinion!

Looks lovely silvery grey I have got a pixie grey but it's darker xxx my wayne pallete and both eyeliners finally arrived woo hoo will put them on for work later, it looks quite subtle for me nice and shimmery tho xxx

I have green eyes too, I love the burgundy/wine and red based purple shades but I find they make my eyes look red and tired! I normally go for cooler purple shades and greys..these 2 colours mixed together really make green eyes pop! Have you tried the Chanel eye pencil in purple choc? It’s a perfect colour kind of like a dark brown and purple mixed together

I'm VERY tempted by these liners 😍 this grey looks gorgeous on you ❣❣ I'm only worried that it won't last in my waterline cause no pencil liner does 😕 the inglot black gel liner in a pot did last longer so I went out and bought the brown too and it let me down! 😭 I'm liking the softer look of browns and greys in the waterline (loving the dark navy blue as well😍),now if only they stayed put in my waterline that would be great 🙄😅🙄 ❤❤❤❤❤
OK here is the $1 billion question. Have you, by chance, tried the Pat McGrath permigel liners? They are the only ones that do not budge at all on me and I swear by them! I am so curious if you have tried them yet.

It looks like you spent 45 minutes to achieve this eye look. Seriously. This eyeliner is stunnnnnning. It’s my favorite as well. And it’s festive too!! I don’t know why, but everything that has a metallic sheen attracts me 10 times more than matte textures. Sometimes I see people complain that a palette “only” has, let’s say, three mattes and how they hate that. I am sitting there going: “but the best part is the shimmers!!!” So of course I want more of those. The problem is that I am shine-obsessed, and that is a serious condition. 😂 Wow, I’m thinking and realizing I don’t have anything like this in my collection, so I need to get this one!!! Plus I really admire Ms Beckham. Thank you, my beautiful friend!!! 😻🥰💖

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty YESSSS!!! The no-budge factor is huge. One time (back in the day) I had just arrived somewhere and there was a decorative mirror in the office. I looked in the mirror only to find out I had raccoon eyes!!! I love our friends the raccoons, but I didn’t want to be one!!! I had JUST arrived, so that means I had been wearing that liner for about 20 minutes. The horror!!!! I definitely need products that stay where I put them. I am in charge, ya know!!! 😂😅🥰

We spent the day, had lunch, one of THOSE types of interviews and I DID notice his eyes would shift to my lids a lot. I shrugged it off. Got to my car at the end of the day. Panda raccoon combo AND transfer up onto lids too. I Died. Sigh!!!!

Whenever I think of a product you are always already there with a review! I haven’t worn liner for 16 years since I started wearing contacts but this and the bronze are calling my name. I haven’t worn them so long that I am looking for something beginner friendly and smudge proof once set. Wearing liner in the water line or more creamy is a recipe for disaster with contacts - it just takes forgetting and rubbing your lid to move an irritated contact and boom you’re a panda 😊 willing to risk it for this colour.
Hello Amber! I understand exactly what you mean as I often wear contacts too. This liner can move but, as you likely noted, it depends which shade you choose. I am not having trouble with this new shade. And I have not had trouble with the bronze. For daily use, if it’s not necessarily about color choice, I do recommend Pat McGrath. Those liners never move! But for unique color, Victoria Beckham is the one!

So it was easy To apply but you didn’t discuss how well it set. My eyes are dry so I need one that also sets. It needs to be waterproof.

Hello, Paula. There are varying reports regarding the long lasting powers of the different shade choices in her line but the Cocoa gets excellent excellent reports including from me.

Urban Decay has a liner called Uzi that’s somewhat close or in the same family. Fenty has a Fly Pencil that’s darker black but has silver flecks. But this one is kind of unique. That being said, I absolutely understand that dealing with deliveries and possible returns by mail is a huge pain!

Funny you should mention this, JoAnne as I have a Glossier eyeliner video coming tomorrow morning. Do you find it makes your eyes run more or does it hurt?
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Hi again Rebecca. I have only lined the upper/lower water line today after seeing your video on using the sea grey liner. But have heard it’s not recommended with this condition, as it kinda comes/goes. So far it’s neither made the eyeliner run not hasn’t hurt my eyes. It’s a strange condition and I control it with drops warm compresses. Lately it’s been good, but 1 never knows… When I first got it I couldn’t wear eye makeup at all as it like totally ran. I felt like a jerk, but since then have been able to use some eye makeup, so that’s good. okay so 2morrow I will check ur Glossier eyeliner video. Then maybe we can go from there.
@@joannefarley2730 this is a good sign though. So far no reaction to this liner! The way around it is a steady hand and a very sharp pencil. You can line very thinly across the lash line but still above the tight line and just under the lower lash line very narrow and pressed up against the lower lash line but not in the water line. That will keep any material out of your eye and help make sure there’s no irritation. Takes talent but I but you’ve got that talent!!
Can you sharpen these / get more product out with a normal sharpener? I have this sea grey liner and I can't work out how to get more out...
Hello Lucy! Yep, sharpen it with a regular pencil sharpener, either the one that comes with from the brand (or save $2 and they don't send it) or just another sharpener you'd use on eye or lip pencils. I agree. It doesn't appear like something sharpenable but it works easily and quickly. I sharpen mine all the time. 😍

@@lucygriffin-stiff6069 Do you know that I’ve probably had four or five people ask the same question because it looks deceiving! You are not alone. It is definitely confusing.
Put the eye pencil in the fridge for an hour or so before sharpening. The soft pencil is sooo much easier to sharpen this way.
Is bronze or navy your second favorite? I can’t possibly buy just 1 thing…🤣
The bronze is my second favorite because it is so unique. But, the Navy is more useful.

How do you see these comparing to chantecaille eye silks eye pencil? I’ve found chantecaille to be great… are these better?
Hello Cath! I’ve only ever tried one (maybe two) Chantecaille pencil and they are indeed lovely. These are a bit softer. The shades are very innovative. Some run a bit. But this one stays put and I’ve really never seen a shade that’s close. 💕
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I’ve been dithering on the VB kajals … they’re similarly priced to chantecaille, a little bit harder to obtain . I’ve also been interested in the VB lid lustres shadows so perhaps I’ll try one of each. Thanks for the information!
