Ignoring the walkthrough for a second

It looks fucking phenomenal

The way the grass sways slowly

I think it might be the most beautiful area in the trilogy

Oh god yeah they really went all out on this game and it shows. The animations for Spyro especially are eye candy to me. Comparing this game to the original trilogy is just so cool in every way and really shows how far gaming and technology in general has come! I'm really REALLY hoping they remake The Legend of Spyro trilogy, since that trilogy is my childhood.

Visually it's nice but also devoid of any personality. Looks like one of those terrible "Mario RTX" unreal engine demos.
@@emporioalnino4670 What a weird take...This game has a unique, cartoony, stylized art style that actually fits the Spyro universe, it's far different from another one of those generic hyper realistic ones like the one you mentioned.

In the original game, that wall had a giant crack on it rather than the different bricks. It was from a time where games required you to explore everything and try to destroy walls and doors that look different than the others.

In the times when I played this, when there was no internet to see how everything is done .. discovering this was an orgasm that lasts until today, the internet is a wonderful tool but it has a double edge, it is to take it out satisfaction to everything, those feelings are unrepeatable

I never knew about the wall as a little kid so this is new to me
I am so glad they did not changed the musical background for this. I would travel way up to the castle roof and hear the magnificent sound together with the wind gently blowing.
It's gotten to the point where I'm over nostalgia. Now I just want to beat the games & play something else.

Never realized how frustrating this game could be when i played it as a kid.
Idk what you mean, you must have been a little guy back then. I remember these games vividly and in fact gliding all the way down to get that orb brought an old smile back to my face. I just forgot how to get up there is all.
That wall that you can break to get to the roof is really frustrating. Every other secret in this game gives you some sort of clue even if it’s not easy to find but with this one we just have to randomly hit that wall or noticed that it’s slightly different than the rest. It would’ve been fine if earlier in The level there was an obvious blocked spot that we had to ram through teaching us that there might be walls to break on this level. I know it’s an old game but it’s still annoying.
I just randomly ran into the wall at the end of wall that you can run along, never believing for a sec that it was a breakable one so i was well surprised when it broke lol
Yeh, at least in Spyro 3 there will be a crack in the wall so that you know you can charge through it.
4:43 is what I came for when I tell you I was in shock about the secret passage I was in shock! I got to the little one next to it easily
Those two hidden walls got me good. Especially since in this game I don’t think there are any others besides these two so I wasn’t even close, especially with the camera, very easy to miss. I knew I had to get up to the roof for the last gems I just couldn’t find the path! The only secret in the whole game I actually had to look up
First I don't notice the obvious igloo in Icy Speedway and have to look up the Orb's location, then I don't notice the fragile brick wall that's obviously different from all others in Autumn Plains and have to look it up again.. Great.
Autumn Plains has always been my favorite hub. It looks beautiful in the remake 💜
As someone who never played Spyro before the remake, these 2 orbs were a PAIN to get. Super hard to find. Glad I got them without any guides.
Yeah right! You were probably like everyone else here who couldn’t complete this level because they couldn’t find the orbs or the gems! Otherwise why else would you be watching this if you completed it

Yeah, the wall is pretty hard to notice, but 1) it's the only thing the ramparts lead to so if you kept charging along them you'd naturally crash into it, 2) it's cracked and 3) in the PS1 version it was more noticeably different from the surrounding walls.

I won’t lie, I had a lot of fun figuring out the secrets in this level
The original Spyro 2 was the first console game I ever played as a kid, and Autumn Plains was my favorite area to be in. When I played the Reignited version, I sat before the pool in Autumn Plains and actually wept as I took in the beauty of the area, now remade with modern graphics, that had brought me so much joy as a kid. It makes me so happy that talented video game developers actually undertook the task of remaking these awesome games while staying almost perfectly true to the original designs, mechanics, game maps, etc. Just goes to show that these games must have meant a lot to many others besides myself. :)

They could've at least made it more obvious that you were supposed to break the friggin' wall like with the first orb, lordy. I remember going past that part a hundred times but never even thinking to do so.

So weird. I'm currently playing through this (played Original religiously) and our runs were identical. We both forgot that one vase because of the dodgy camera angles in that spot.

Hidden walls were one of the most common things in old games, this game is a recreation of an old game changing barely anything other than its looks. Also, you could have sparks lead you in the direction of the different looking wall due to gems being behind it, so not like it was actually hidden.
NOWHERE IN WHOLE FUCKING GAME YOU HAVE THESE WALLS.
I figured this out as a kid and I feel so dumb not seeing that wall. Whenever I looked that wall it was always in my blindspot. That wall is so out of place

I'm scaling around the castle looking upwards and I saw the whirlwind on top of the castle and I'm trying to figure out how in the hell to get up there, but literally who is figuring this out on their own? There's no way for you to just know or figure out a fucking hidden doorway is right there...
I've been going in circles trying to figure out how to get up there for like 2 hours.

Yes there is a way....the brick first off is a lot different looking than the other ones and is more transparent. That's your hint. The other wall has multiple cracks on it...so there you go. It's for people who pay lots of attention to detail, so don't feel bad. It aint an easy one anyway.

Parinsu [Dbl0] I don’t consider myself superior in any way, nor did I try implying anything or throwing jabs. I’m just saying this level specifically requires a lot of attention to detail. The number of people who failed at it doesn’t determine the difficulty of it. After all lots of players found Gnasty Gnorc in Spyro 1 hard as hell when it was down right easy. For why I watched this video, I wanted to see what everyone else thought of this as I spent a few hours trying to find these orbs; it’s for my own amusement only :)

Right where you arrived at 4:47 spot, turn to the right side (or even simpler go ask Sparx, he'll point the exact location for you). Standing on the edge while facing Enola, then glide slightly to the right chamber 💎💎

There are multiple cracks on that wall. That's how. But only people with intense observation skills can figure that out. Those with conventional methods will never.
