- What can I say about the Polaris Expedition other than well done. Between the new look and the added power. combined with well thought out interior design, this rig was cool to check out. The Northstar with the fully loaded option is almost like cheating. A/C, Heat, power windows, what else can you ask for. The ability to customize a rig with accessories and racking to make your Expedition fit your needs is huge.
Now we had the ability to test drive an Expedition and I was pleasantly surprised.

As a Turbo S owner, I am waiting to see if Polaris develops a new transmission other than the CVT. I have enjoyed the performance of my machine, but I'm disappointed with the lack of belt and clutch longevity.
I have a general and Polaris clutches are pretty terrible. I put a duraclutch on and it was like a new machine. Haven't had a belt issue since i put it on 3 years ago

Good content! Was it a smooth take off or did it have the typical Polaris jerk at take off? Is it quieter than a full cab Ranger? I know you mentioned it had some noise in the cab. I have a 2023 trailboss and was thinking about going to one of these. Thanks!!
I felt it was very smooth on take-off. Very nice overall. My only complaint was in regard to the noise in cab. I can't really compare it to the Ranger. Reason, never been in one. lol However, I felt the in cab was noisy. Seemed like a lot of engine noise for not much speed. Sounded like I should be doing 100mph and I was only doing 18mph. If you look past that part which is being picky. We have to remember it is a SXS. Definitely a nice rig.

Goddamm, the noise and the weak horsepower for that's prise .. this is a no go for Me. 4 seater are 54k in Canada. 😮

For thst money I could buy a jeep. Atleast they're street legal
In lake havasu Arizona these are road legal.
I compare a purely off-road vehicle to a daily driver that makes absolutely no sense that being said, I also live in Arizona and drive it on the highways and roadways with no issue and jeep suck for that matter they cannot go where these can
Too noisy.
I can say that was my biggest issue with the rig. The engine nosie was pretty excessive.
Way too expensive for a golf cart on steroids....I would buy a jeep first
Why would you compare a jeep which is a daily driver to a toy? These are on two separate levels, and do nothing the same these have far more capabilities, off-road, or jeeps or superior on the highway. It’s almost like comparing a boat boat to a car.
@@gunguyreviews377While you're correct there is no reason to make excuses for these prices. Polaris sxs typically won't even last 10k miles. The fact they cost as much as a jeep that will go 200k plus is simply price gouging
@@kp63 Irrelevant. Two completely different uses. You cannot take a Jeep where you can take these period. These are just toys. Jeeps are for people who need daily drivers and toys. These are for people who already own daily drivers and drive these for fun.
