Polaris Scrambler 1000s Seat Repair CHEAP FIX
Well boke the first part on the Scrambler and it was the seat of all things. Both the mounting posts snapped clean off. to replace it with an OEM base they are almost $300 and this requires tearing the seat all the way apart. Everyone knows that getting the seat cover back on properly and making it look perfect is almost impossible. With a drill, Dremel, rivet gun, and 30 minutes you can have your seat good as new and better than factory.

Wife Dumps the Polaris Scrambler. Tigerton Offroad Park
Переглядів 6172 дні тому
We head out and romple stomp on the Polaris Scrambler Xp1000's. The main reason is for Ashlie to gain some confidence on what the machines are actually capable of. We stuff them in the mud, rail them up the rocks, and they never miss a beat. Location is good ol Tigerton Offroad Park and this place never disappoints. The park has good rock crawling, mud, and an awesome spot to stop and cool off ...

    I ripped the front A arm mountings off a Polaris trail riding with my wife on the back, don't remember the model. I looked at the mounts for the A arms in the front that came off and they were made with sheet metal. BTW, neither person on the quad was even thrown off the force was so minimal. We welded it, reinforced it and the owner traded it in for a new one.

    At the end were you doing pulls with the new ECU tune ? Did you get to run it with stage2 hardware without ECU tune VS stage2 hardware with tune? If so how much harder did it pull or not?

    • @leterripadventures
      @leterripadventures 6 днів тому

      @cavidz_moto I didn't get the chance to run it with just the hardware. Did everything at once. Compared to stock, it was much more responsive. Snappy, and you could definitely tell the difference. That and the exhaust added 👌 a crisp, clean sound that made it sound mean. If you ho the Bikeman route, I have a discount code leterrip. Save ya some money. As far as performance difference without the tune in my experience with other machines, xp turbos, it will wake it up a little. More flow more go. but the tune is where you will notice the biggest change

    What you could not see was the otherside of the wheeler where my leg was holding the machine from going over. And yes that thing is too big for me. Great video! I just purchased the exact same setup for my 2019 Tacoma 5' bed - Rough Country tent, roll up cover, and rack. Glad to see the whole package truly does fit together. Question - With the tent mounted up top, would you have the clearance to pull your truck into a standard 7' garage bay? Also, what was your final opinion of your decision at (6:20) to not full seat the top bracket down into the vertical bar? Any impact on stability? I did notice that the height of your rack appears slightly taller than the reference photos online. Thanks!

    • @leterripadventures
      @leterripadventures 28 днів тому

      @JinAnde I don't think I would have enough room to pull the truck in the garadge with the roof-top tent mounted. I have removed it after after every trip. It's kind of a pain, but the truck stays outside, and I don't want to leave the tent outside when using it. As far as the vertical uprights, I made them tall enough to fit the Molle Panels buy made Tham as short as possible. Also, if you are installing rhe molle panels, make sure the rack is stretched out long enough. I found out after the rack eas mounted and had to cut and paint the panels to make them fit. Hope this helps. Enjoy your setup.

    I was solo camping in a remote area in California a few decades ago when I noticed a mountain lion following me while I was on a short hike. He followed me for about 10 minutes until I decided to turn around and go back to camp. The lion disappeared at that point, and by the time I got back to my camp, I had a "stress headache" that took hours to go away. I was glad I had my little .380 with me but I was even happier that I didn't need to use it.
