I've just been moving house. Was looking at it last night actually, and was thinking I need to get it installed as a priority. Will still be a little bit as I've got to get the kids furniture and so forth built first. Sorry for the delay.
I'm surprisingly curious about this, the live TV and subscription management seems good (in theory). Got a few questions that you can hopefully answer, Chris: - Can Kayo and Binge be signed in with different Hubbl accounts? - Do the Apple and Amazon apps allow you to watch your rentals/purchases or is it only content from TV+ and Prime? - I know it does 4K, but can it do HDR, DV, and Atmos like the Glass?
Hi Mate - not sure if you saw the live video I just put up, but some of the answers were there for you. 1. I don't think so. It looks like the Hubbl apps work as if inbuilt to the UI. Just experimenting with Kayo now, and all the functionality is gone (like splitscreen, key moments, etc.) So it's not like logging into the app as an independent beast as you do with Disney, Apple, Amazon and so on. 2. Yes. It's just like opening the app as usual. Anything in it, you can do as usual. 3. Not sure. Settings at the moment caps out at Dolby Digital Plus. But I'm using an older TV (I'm at my parents - long story involving a house fire). Will keep experimenting and will let you know.
I'm on the fence about buying one. I mean an Android tv box can basically do the same and not be app limited. And If a person doesn't need an aerial jack, a firestick or chromecast would suffice. I'm also curious about bluetooth headphone support too.
I know the TV - Hubbl Glass - has Bluetooth headphone support. I was on the fence, but I think the integration of live TV with on-demand is pretty cool, and I love that you can toggle subscriptions on and off through the UI depending one when you want to watch one. Should save people a fair bit of $ over time.
Yeah, it's a solid start. Definitely room for improvement, but I like where they are going with it. Super disappointed about Kayo integration, but I'm told even if the forced ads are to stay, at least some of the broader features - like Key Moments - will come in the future.
I’ve just got one.The white tab at the bottom just broke off so can’t get out altogether.Would this be reason for handset not working. Hope you can help.
That's unfortunate... Was really interested in this service due to poor tv reception and escaping LG WebOS shitty UI. But as a Kayo user utilising 4k for Rugby league, I guess this box isn't for me
@@motivatedtravel Oh really - maybe there is hope?! Will you be putting out a review vid this evening / tomorrow, and if so, could you please show the display settings within the software?
The service is shit, all my information moved without my consent & can’t access have my services like Kayo. Can’t use my gift cards & can’t update bank details. So stupid
Any news on when your Hubbl Glass review will drop Chris ? Looking forward to your thoughts.

@@JeffVader Nah it's definitely not like that. The account is still separate to Hubbl and can be used as usual.
Google chrome cast has headphone blue tooth
its looks pretty good. good selection of apps and the integration looks good.

Sorry I'm not really following. What can't you get out? The Hubbl from its packaging?
What handset are you referring, too?
But how do you put the batteries in?!
It's wired? There are no bateries.
Kayo Sports is completely nerfed on it. Easily the biggest con so far.
I have an Apple TV box and it's the best. Splitview on Flash and Kayo. Come to 2024 election I can watch up to 4 simultaneous election coverage on TV

@@adrianbarnes9776 Yeah, that's a chunk of my TV time, too. It will get better. But the forced ad thing is hard to forgive.
Can you set it to 50Hz in the display settings?
No choice that I could see. The Hubbl Glass is 60Hz, so I suspect if there is a default, that is it.
@@motivatedtravel Thanks for the reply. Kinda strange seeing as all FTA / Kayo / Binge etc is 25 or 50 fps...
@@kktodak7230 I might be wrong then, just know there wasn't a setting for me to change the Hz.
Actually digging around a bit more, TV is saying the signal coming through from the Puck is 50hz.

It's not a Foxtel alternative because there's no Foxtel on it.
Well between the Binge, Kayo, Lifestyle and FLASH apps, it's pretty much all of Foxtel. But your correct, Foxtel app specifically isn't on it.

Really?! That' sucks. All my stuff is working as it was before. Are you looking through website or app?
Google chrome cast better than this rubble
This has potential, but not quite fulfilled yet.
