uber takes 50% to 80% of the fare
the payrates only decrease, never increase
they steal tips, steal surge, they pay nothing for car upkeep, fuel and they dont operate the car
they dont pay you on the way to pick up the rider, they dont pay you to drive all the way back from a dead area after a long ride
the driver cannot set a fenced area "only give me rides that keep me in these cities"
cannot set an exclusion zone "never take me to gangland or the desert"
driver cannot set a minimum fare "only rides that pay above $X"
i do all the work
take all the risk
i should get all the pay
and they should take a flat fee from each ride, NOT a scaling % !!!!!

My only concern is the impact on citibike, which is ran by lyft. I pay 200 for a year to use the bikes in nyc.
