Try using a piece of non skid rug backing to keep your serger from traveling all over your table. I've done this under mine and it makes a big difference. 👍
I love that you made modifications to the pants and then goofed up and then fixed them! ...sometimes I feel like I am the only one that happens too. Great shirring tutorial 😊
Thanks for the tutorial, I'll definitely try shirred on my upcoming pants. Oh I agree they look fab after you decided to make the change. Ciao from Perth, Western Australia 😊
They look great and look very comfy. I’ll have to try it. I often have a hard time getting the bobbin threaded right when doing shirring. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a top load bobbin.
Beautiful def love pockets though also You should show the shirted waistband more .. like an actual close up. I can’t tell if it’s that really loose elastic or hold the waist really nice in place .. thanks ❤
What I do with shirred tops when I don't want the extra ruffle (and what I will do with trousers, here researching!) is add flat elastic to the very top, creating a hem wide enough for the elastic so it becomes a channel. It then sits against the skin, nicely ruched but not ruffled. I use 1cm wide but different widths will give different looks. It also helps things feel a bit more secure!

Thank you so much! I'm glad it helps!
Really cute pants! Think my granddaughters, ages 28, 16, 9 & 3, would love this look! Thanks for sharing this technique😊
I liked them high rise🤷🏽♀️😍😍😍
My favorite pants has a shirred waistband so I’m glad you made this video. I now can make a similar pair with my own fabrics. Thanks!

Noted! Thanks for the advice.
I so need to make these❤❤❤
What kind of elastic do you use? I can’t find any locally but Im confused on what kind to buy
Is the dress you're wearing a e&m pattern?
Yup. True beauty dress and top. She showed how to make it in the video right below this one on the video tap. So cute!
I. Surprised that you didn't double up the waistband fabric and just used a single layer. Bx
The only thing I'm not a fan of is the ruffle at the top if the waistband. Can you eliminate this?
