My grandson has a Landrover Defender truck, your 101 goes really well. Someone must have done some hard work on the mecahanical side. Its a great part of landrover history, Looks like you are having a lot of fun, enjoy life while you can.
As soon as I got it I changed all the fluids and had a full service. It has top notch leads and a new radiator and hoses. It hadn't done massive miles before I got it but I try to run the engine every week and take it for a run often. The mechanical stuff is all down to James Spurgeon a specialist near me and me trying to fix or replace anything dodgy with as good a replacement as I can any time something isn't right. Last major thing is probably a carb refresh at some point.
JUST WATCHED THE FIRST 5 INSTALMENTS OF YOUR BUILD VERY INTERESTING ONLY THING I WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENT WOULD BE TO HAVE RAISED THE ROOF, AS WELL AS THE REAR, LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT VIDEO
Raising the roof was 2 things - expense and the undercurrent to try to keep it semi original. The feeling was we could add a pop up later if this doesn't work. The best advice I had when I started was you don't have to get it right the first time and it can be done again if you really want to.(I don't want to but I get what he was saying!)
The 101 she sounds lovely 👍

Great video, it goes really well especially at double speed!..
i so want one of these!!!!!
Getting harder to find. There are a few on sale but seem very pricey as mostly restored already.
@@spuddoc7230 yea, probably just a pipe dream for me at the moment! ive got a 2a sat on drive that is taking an age to restore lol.
Sounds like a nascar when sped up lol. Awesome videos
It was more amusing in x2 or x4 speed but x8 at least brought the time down to a reasonable level!!
