You’re right, but she could still do things on her own to help the situation instead of waiting on someone else and letting things get progressively worse!
You can not put bleach on mold . I live in the Bronx and went through the exact same thing. If they’re not willing to gut her apartment she needs to move now.
@@lamorenalindacopswife Hmmm, several tenants suffered from this flood, but this is the only one that suffered this horrific mold problem, even though the other woman, judging from her ceiling, repair, also had water coming down her walls.
Exactly! There are things she can do on her own! I understand that she shouldn’t have to, but why allow yourself to live in unsanitary conditions waiting for someone else to do something?!! It doesn’t take an expert to take a door off the hinges and simply remove it out the apartment!! I can’t believe this! 😂
@@andreasmith5396 Why do people get haircuts when it grows back? Why do people sweep teh floor or wash their clothes when it's going to get dirty again?
You never saw anything like that before, because most people would have washed it off with bleach or some disinfectant, or at least sprayed it with lysol. God help those who helps themselves.
You can’t wash that away alot of old buildings in the Bronx need to be gutted due to flooding and neglect and you can not fix something like that while people are living there.
@@charleerichter9622 That is not true. Mold comes back only if the condition that caused it in the first place is still present. For example, if the water situation had never been fixed, then yes, the mod would've come back. But this is mold from a one-time plumbing incident that was fixed, so if she had started cleaning this from the start, it would've never gotten as far as it did.
You dry it out with a fan or a dehumidifier and use disinfectant. thats what professional (service pros) do, except they charge $10,000. Letting it sit there for that long is probably going to result in gutting the whole room. Probably $15,000 to $20,000 @@maryjs4878

That must be condemned
Sad
I would have taken that door off the hinges, threw it out and cleaned the walls
She should have called code they would have helped her the same day. Well at least that's how it work here in Schenectady NY
Wtf
Can’t u just remove that door by now?
@glorious277 perhaps she can't remove the door, because it's not her property.
Or maybe she has a disability.

Bleach and a sponge or rag and the mold would be gone. I can't understand why anyone would just let mold grow like that.
After a major flooding like that the mold can be growing within the walls and need to treated by a professional mold removal service.
