  • Turns out that Turkey's bluest water may not even be on the coast! We follow a last minute tip from one of you to drive inland and explore the blue water of Salda Lake. We then head to the charming Bodrum Peninsula to explore Gumusluk and old town Bodrum. Finally, we make our way to the most epic viewpoint yet, Itzuzu Beach in Dalyan. We even happened upon a traditional Turkish wedding!
What do you think, is this the bluest water in Turkey? If you know somewhere better, let us know in the comments!

Bodrum is actually quite smaller than Izmir, Izmir is the third largest city in Turkey :) It's probably because you visited during October that Bodrum was warmer than Alaçatı and there were more people there than in Alaçatı. You should visit again in July if you want to see some real crowds and an amazing nightlife in Alaçatı!
