I think holding $30k in commissary would be a very stupid idea. the money basically goes to the police and they get to dictate who gets what and how much.
Commissary shouldn't be allowed in jail or prison inmates should only be given food water and clothing and shampoo and soap and toilet paper ..no cellphone no computer no radio Commissary can by a lot in jail but if the criminals don't have Commissary and are given the bare minimum to live day to day and not allowed to commit more crimes while incarcerated 😊
