Japan Day 4: Pizzeria Est & Matcha Quest

After three action-packed days, we took a well-deserved break, spending most of the day unwinding in the comfort of The Royal Park Iconic Kyoto. It was a day for recharging, reflecting on our adventures, and preparing for more explorations.
By evening, our appetites and curiosity got the better of us, so we ventured out into Kyoto's bustling streets. Our target was Kichi Kichi Omurice, famed for its fluffy omelettes, but fate had other plans. Without a reservation, we found ourselves redirected in search of dinner, landing at Pizzeria Est for a delightful change of pace.
Our night wouldn't be complete without matcha, and though Gong Cha was closed, we discovered Kyo ha Matcha de Kimeru. The premium matcha there was a new experience, offering a taste of luxury. While it was distinctly high-quality, my preference still leaned towards the familiar flavors of Gong Cha.
Content with our evening's adventure, we meandered back to our hotel, ready for the restful night ahead and eager for what the next day in Kyoto might bring.
