They got mad that people were paying for the game, playing it, and then refunding it because the games too short for the refund option to stop. They also were getting mad that people were criticizing their game, which is dumb because games should have criticism. It’s what makes game improve if the devs listen. Im not saying they should be harassed and hated, but they kinda threw themselves under the bus and acted like the victims. Edit: 6 months later and I still get notifications on this bro chill 😭

fun fact. The models for the creatures/mascots actually have around 200k polygons. But this is what's funny cause most average humanoid/monster model polygon counts are around 15k to 60k meanwhile garten of banban has 200k per monster 💀
For anyone who doesnt know how to play: garten of ban ban explained. First click the clock or hit skip, then youll find a keycard which is behind the desk. Put the keycard or click/tap the keycard to the blue door then there'll be a remote you click then find the batteries which are in the cafeteria then u click/tap your left mouse or button onto the red buttons to open the yellow door. Once you have opened it youll find a bird looking at you, when u walk past it'll go away. Press the button on the second door where the bird dissapeared it'll turn on lights then youll have to get 6 eggs to get your prize. They are : on the bench, the sign, slide, the playground thing, the boat, and i forgot where the other one is. Once you got all the eggs click/tap on the bird to give it the eggs, then you'll get a keycard go to the room across from the room your in and press the button where the keycard goes. Then youll get your drone and break the yellow glass get your drone to press the red button, once you have pressed it get the hammer from the small closet by the desk and pc. Then go to the room with opila bird you knock down the boards and press a button on the side. Then walk down and get on the chair, than press the reclyce button looking thing once you get taken over you get to pick there color. After that it opens a closet with a orange keycard. Ophila bird comes over so you have to wait then get your drone and press the red button, once you've done that run on the path well it's still opening up after youve ran over to the floor on the other side press, EMERGENCY STOP ophila bird will then fall, go through the door where you broke down the boards and go down the hall to the orange door and open it with your key card then you press a button below the desk and then press a button on the wall, then get your drone to press the red button once you've done that the floor will go down and A elevator will come then press the button on the Elevator itll take you down. Then jumbo josh tries to get you but you pass out i think and now your stuck in the bottom of the kindergarten then it rolls the credits. This is the same for the roblox version. ENJOYYY
Even though I love Alberts roblox content it feels sort of refreshing to see him play other games outside of roblox, I hope we see more videos like this in the future :)
The game wasnt quite hated for its replacement of poppy playtime. But rather its laziness, it uses free 3d models, and lazy characters. People notice the lack of heart the game has. But most people who expressively hated on it actually became really cool with the creators. Someone remade their game and made it more interesting within 1 week.

I’m late but I wanna give my opinion on the game. It shouldn’t have been hated on so much. Most people hated on it because it was hated on by everyone else, I honestly love how albert didn’t instantly hate it. Everyone loves poppy playtime for having ONE character in the whole first chapter but then bash Garten of Banban for doing it. Everyone says that the euphoric brothers are making the game for money but that doesn’t make sense as they got LOTS of hate and still pumped out 3 chapters- if they were doing it for money then they probably would’ve stopped at chapter one with the hate. But the doors dev tweet honestly left me in awe, as the second chapter wasn’t bad and they called it pathetic 🧍🏼the truth is, the game gets bashed for doing one thing and many games get praised for doing it. Society is messed up.

In reality, I really think the game is interesting! Sure it may be short and everyone thinks it is so bad, but I really adore the lore, character designs, and controls. It should not really be getting all the hate. You should have just not bought the game and watched others go through the game instead. I tried it myself and found myself to enjoy it. So excited for the third game in a few days!
