You actually missed a few things about the Magic Quiver. So when you have the Magic Quiver, it is also affected by the rings you are wearing. Like I have two Iridium bands, and one of them is combined with a Napalm Ring. So my Perfect Magic Quiver shoots on average somewhere between 45 to 50, damage getting a boost in attack power from the Iridium Bands, and when the monster goes down, they explode thanks to the Napalm Ring. Also, my Infinity Blade has the Crusader enchantment, so when I hold that weapon, the Mummies don't revive. Oh, I also noticed that the shadow monsters take more damage from the arrows, too. This is just an example of what I have been doing with the Magic Quiver so far. There's more combinations to discover still.
Ah that reminds me. You said that once you have mastered the skills there's no more need for the Book of Stars. However there's still something useful you can do with it. You can save your Book of Stars and sell it to the book trader for Fairy Dust.
Challenge bait actually works slightly differently than stated. I've found it actually works as losing a fish every time the bar starts to deplete. This distinction from "every time the fish leaves the bar" is important because if you have a treasure hunter bobber equipped and you leave the fish to collect the chest, you lose one fish when you initially go to grab the chest, and if the fish is not in the bar upon collecting the chest, you lose another fish when the bar starts to deplete again, even though the fish itself didn't leave the bar a second time. This is apparent because the fish entering and leaving while reeling in the chest doesn't lose additional fish, and if reeling in something like a carp that never goes to the top, you can be sure it didn't enter and exit the bar whilst reeling in a chest at the top.
This video was better for explaining the details of the basics of the mastery system than any other vid i've come across so far ^-^ It was straightforward and even easier to listen to than tutorial videos with insane amounts of views
Good video, I do farming first, the new scythe makes harvesting much easier, and almost makes junimos obsolete. And with my end game strategy mostly being plant as many ancient fruits or star fruits as possible. The farming mastery helps me farm the necessary xp to get the others quickly. Though I do tend to get foraging, fishing, mining then combat.
As soon as I tried the fairy box, I got spoiled because you barely need to touch your food stack. I should try getting used to the ice rod or magic quiver, though.

Nice break down. I didn't know the quiver amd ice rods course became perfect. I wasted a ton of bars on my fairy boxes and gave up using the anvil. The level of mastery I used was 1. Farming 2. Foraging 3. Fishing 4. Mining 5. Combat
Max distance (by this I mean maximum distance from the edge of the water, which IS possible in the mines) perfect catches at level 10 (which you need to unlock masteries in the first place) will always be iridium quality. So instead of a quality bobber you can use either a second cork bobber if you're not confident in your skill at the minigame, to make it extra sure to not lose the perfect catch, or if you're a gambling person, use a treasure bobber to see if you can't get the illusive 'perfect catch+ treasure chest' super catch. Enchanting the rod with Mastery will help make the fishing bar even bigger, as does eating food that gives a fishing buff.
I went for Farming, Combat, Fishing, Mining and Foraging. When I got the book of star I only even got to used it once and just sold the next one I got to the book seller for some fairy dust. It does, but it’s a bit harder to get the 3 day quest to line up with the right blessing I guess? I have also seen people turn the legend 2 into bait to increase the bite chance and get more of them

I did the same as you. I saved fishing for last because I thought I would get more xp with the farming.

Curiosity lures are so rare I just use a quality and cork bobber, and that way i get nine iridium eels instead of settling for gold or even plain.
