I wanted inspiration for Thanksgiving dinner because it’s my first time cooking for Thanksgiving . I’m 17 . Everything looks so yummy and you’re so beautiful!
This was so well done. Very informative. I really liked how you just got right to it. No long intros, no long speeches. Thank you for sharing. I will certainly be using your recipes this Thanksgiving!

I’m not great with eyeballing measurements but I’m letting you take the lead😂I KNOW you’re going to have me throwing down in the kitchen. SO inspired right now. Running to the store now. THANK YOU!!
Me too. It's so much easier to cook it when it's broken down. Alternatively, you could also just buy the pieces you like the most rather than cooking the entire bird.
This was very enjoyable. The banana pudding was a nice touch! And I’ve never seen a turkey broken down like that, wow. The herbs on the turkey pieces looked so yummy. Herbs are my thing.
cornstarch slurry into the candy sweet potatoes makes a pretty glaze. Thank you for sharing this with us! I really enjoy the way you cook and don't obsess over fussy details. That's how I cook, too.

First time see your video and you are a GREAT COOK love how you did the sweet potatoes definitely doing mine that way this Thanksgiving ..love the gravy also..loved it all.. thank you for sharing I'll be looking forward to your next video.. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
You did an amazing job! I'm gonna either cut my turkey apart like you did or do the upside down turkey like other videos showed. I might do both to compare. Either way thank you so much for showing how you cook your Thanksgiving meal. I'm definitely going to make that banana pudding though this year! It looked so good. I love how you know the measurements by just looking...awesome!
Thank you! I've never tried the turkey upside down but for me it was about the speed of cooking the pieces vs the whole bird. Let me know what you try and how you like it!
Danielle, baby girl. You get a standing ovation and a real big black choir singing just to celebrate you. Dang, honey you did the hell out of that Turkey. @@DanielleLaShawn You know none of my family (immediate or distant) has ever did potato salad for Thanksgiving ot Christmas. New Year's either for that matter. That's more like a summer, 4th of July dish to us. But to each their own, I guess. LOL
My grandmother used to make potato salad for Thanksgiving but she had a bunch of visitors. With me cooking for just my family I know they they don't all eat it so it's not always worth it to make some things even if I like them.

Yes melt the 2 sticks of butter and when it is completely melted add 1 cup packed brown sugar., when it starts to bubble add a tablespoon vanilla cinnamon and teaspoon nutmeg. Pour it over sliced sweep potatoes and bake 50 min 375 covered.
You did a great job with time management lol. That's a good idea to break the turkey down like that. I'm always afraid to do a while bird but I would definitely try it like that tho. Everything looks great!!! Thanks for the video
Hey Danielle, I love this video, Last night I tried, I mean, I really tried to do exactly as you did in this video I got all my ingredients, set up my work space, Girl I even said I would not take a 30 minute break, 6 hours, 3 breaks, 2 glasses of wine and 5 UA-cam videos later, I quit and went to bed, I’m in the kitchen now trying to finish up, lol I could not contend with you. I am new to your channel and I like how you broke down that Turkey but I never tried sweet condensed milk in my sweet potato pie is it good? I like that because I'm open to new ideas and I like to try it
Tip, take the back of a porcelain plate that you don’t care to mess up and run your knife over the rim of the bottom of the plate and it will sharpen it if you don’t have a knife sharpener! :)
I stumbled across your channel and watching you breakdown the Turkey was interesting 🤔 Why didn't I think of that???🤕 ALL the other videos are about roasting the Turkey intact. You are different 🌈 Awesome 🤸💝🤩I subscribed 💙💜🧡💖
This popped up on my suggestions and I'm so glad it did! That banana pudding recipe looked amazing. Loved the milk to cream ratio. And you better butcher that turkey! Amazing. I'm making the turkey for the first time this year and I'm nervous lol. And I love to cook. 🤦♀️
Loved the video just a tip get you an electric pressure cooker. Cuts down on time, and stove space. Definitely using mine this year! Making my broth, greens and desserts the night before.
I've only cooked cornbread ahead for my stuffing, because I've been concerned with things not tasting as fresh... But the broth is such a great idea! And I can see greens and dessert tasting better the next day too. Thank you.
Ummm ummmm everything looks so good...good job on carving that turkey up...when you showed the pie that dropped i was like nooooo, but its ok its still going to bet eaten 😊😊😊
I like how everybody decided to watch this within the last week

We claiming all that work we about to do! 🥰
I NEED that knife 😍😍 cuts so smoothly
That is a super old Paula Deen knife from Walmart but I feel like you can get nice knives pretty much anywhere these days.
Tip, take the back of a porcelain plate that you don’t care to mess up and run your knife over the rim of the bottom of the plate and it will sharpen it if you don’t have a knife sharpener! :)
You ain't no joke with that knife 👏👏👏🦃🦃🦃🦃
Lol 🔪🔪
I stumbled across your channel and watching you breakdown the Turkey was interesting 🤔 Why didn't I think of that???🤕 ALL the other videos are about roasting the Turkey intact. You are different 🌈 Awesome 🤸💝🤩I subscribed 💙💜🧡💖
Lol, thanks! It makes the process a lot easier in my opinion.
Agreed. I also just subscribed!
I subscribed! I'm totally hooked!!!
Wow! This was impressive. I feel so inspired.
So glad it inspired you!
This popped up on my suggestions and I'm so glad it did! That banana pudding recipe looked amazing. Loved the milk to cream ratio. And you better butcher that turkey! Amazing. I'm making the turkey for the first time this year and I'm nervous lol. And I love to cook. 🤦♀️
Lol, thank you! The banana pudding is a show stopper. The turkey is so much easier to manage when it's broken down. Every piece was cooked perfectly.
You did a fabulous job with this video. Such a joy to watch. Happy early thanksgiving. Love from the Bahamas.
Thank you so much!! 💕
Loved the video just a tip get you an electric pressure cooker. Cuts down on time, and stove space. Definitely using mine this year! Making my broth, greens and desserts the night before.
I'm not opposed to a pressure cooker but I am opposed to 2 days of cooking. 😩😩
I've only cooked cornbread ahead for my stuffing, because I've been concerned with things not tasting as fresh... But the broth is such a great idea! And I can see greens and dessert tasting better the next day too. Thank you.
The pressure cooker and a kitchen aide mixer would help you tremendously. Softening butter to room temp. Speeds process.Great job!!
So interesting how everyone makes their sweet potatoes differently. Looks delish!
Sweet potatoes are definitely something that everyone does differently.
Girl you did that, and I agree there needs to be a video that shows us how to cut up a turkey like that. Also your skin is beautiful! Great job!

Can I use the regular whisk for the banana pudding??????
Yes, absolutely! It might take some elbow grease but it can definitely be done.
