  • Here we start off with the SwellPro FD1 Profish, we give a basic rundown on how to set it up before Kaleb catches a kingfish. The SwellPro FD1 drones start at $1999 NZD without a camera, or $2499 NZD as seen in this video with the camera. The SwellPro FD1 drone has a 2kg payload, 1.6km range, up to 26 minute flight time, and an IP65 rated body. These drones come standard with a servo operated release mechanism, no tension releases are currently available for these. The remotes for the SwellPro FD1 are not waterproof in any way. If you are wanting a waterproof remote, check out the SplashDrone 4 as seen in our other videos.
    The new AEE Condor Pro ,which is coming soon, has more than 3kg lift, 1km range, 30 minute flight time, can fly in the rain, and will be less than $3000 NZD. The AEE Condor Pro will have the same remote as the standard AEE Condor, not the complex remote shown in this video. This helps to keep the price more reasonable for a top end drone, and make the drone far easier to use. The release mechanism is the Newton 3, which can either release under tension or with the push of a button. This is the safest release mechanism, as any tangles will result in the line releasing, rather than causing problems with the drone. You'll see us taking a fishing net out with the Condor Pro, we wouldn't attempt this with a servo type release.

    LOVE ALL the videos !! I had an idea you might try with the mullet net !! Use OANNES Drop Zone Berley Mesh to make a rope like drop net , just tie a piece of drop zone to bundle the net like a rope so many feet apart down the net , so when its lifted by the drone its being lifted like a rope and not drag through the water like the open net !! :) The lead that holds the buoy should keep the net straight until the drop zone mesh is wet enough to drop the net !! Even if you just tied the shore end of the net is should work !!

    Is the camera quality good enough to see sandbars and channels? Can you move the camera around to see under you better?

    Hi! Good video! Tell me a drone for beginners! With less value! And how much weight can you carry!?

    What’s the battery life on the pro and how many sets can you get on average with it? Like the idea of being able to fly in the rain. How much rain are we talking and what wind can it handle?

    • @paulsfishingsystems
      @paulsfishingsystems  2 роки тому +1

      Up to 26 minutes, less with increased load. We average 5 sets to 5-600m on a single battery

      Cheers for the quick reply. When you say fly in the rain, how much rain are we talking and how much wind

      Sorry thought you meant Profish FD1. Condor Pro can handle 30 knots and has 30 minutes battery. It can handle heavy rain, if you want to be out there fishing then it’s up to the job

    Whats the camera video recording quality on the fd1? I seen footage and it looks really bad. Can you confirm bro?

      It is designed for seeing where to deploy baits, not photography etc.. If you wanted to do both, you could go with the Splashdrone SD4, otherwise go for a dedicated fishing drone such as the AEE Condor, and get a dedicated photography drone. Will work out cheaper, and you’re not risking an expensive drone for fishing

    Hello, max distance of camera taking clear picture?

    • @paulsfishingsystems
      @paulsfishingsystems  Рік тому

      Hi there, I wouldn’t call the picture clear at any point with the FD1. The camera works up to max distance of 1.6km with no interference.
