Sister Shortridge and Matthew are still at Dallas. Brother Shortridge and Daniel are at the Lincolnton Church of God as well as Leighanne and several others.
Regardless of anything that's happened! With the Shortridge family! Every church has its best day! All the other churches setting on Dallas COG district, Like Lowell; North Gaston, As a former member of East Gastonia COG, I would have to say it's best day was from 82 to 1999! That's when the church was in its core prime! Not just the active members, visitors people transferring from other churches! Youth showing up to children's church! 9/11 helped some churches and sent other churches into gradual decline! Unfortunately East Gastonia was one of them that 9/11 sent into to gradual decline! The church attendance begin to drop off, people got married, and left, to be with their spouse, at their Church! Some moved away, some people just lost interest, other's went to college, others left to go evangelize or do MIP, or Pastor a church! Sure people left over Church hurt! What church hasn't experience that" That's the True story, of what sent it into decline! Now I see Dallas going though it! Unless we can all stay in our twenties and thirties forever! When we are at our sharpest! Mentally physically and emotionally. Then we all have an appointment with Father Time! Time is undefeated! Sure the Holy Spirit can revive us again! That's not even in question!
Great service
