Sable Aviation is Selling single seats now if you want to go back. Its pricey. but better then having to book the whole plane.

But where does one stay? Do you need permission from Parks Canada to journey there?

This is so cool. I loved the choice of music, and the commentary was perfect. Going to see Sable Island is such a dream of mine...

you should go. Sable Aviation started selling single tickets this year - its still pricey, around 2k CDN, but alot more manageable then booking a whole plane.

Saw this island on weather map, more or less by accident. Is there any info about the pic of the spanner(?, here in the Netherlands it's called a "key") and the gear? What relates it to?

so those are the remains of a lighthouse, located at the east station, that was demolished via explosives, and then buried by an expanding sand dune. they have re-emerged from the sand, and the whole area is covered by little bits of human activity
