Steve didn't know for sure that the transporter wasn't alive and if he claimed it, both the real teleporter and 5up would have teamed up against him.

I don't think that would work because they usually don't vote the actually-sus person, it's usually a spicy boom with random dice even if they don't say that out loud.

- 5up has been playing Social Deduction games for how many years since Mafia days? and in competitive lobbies ongoing!
- if he has a vocal giveaway in his voice "e.g. yawning, sounding bored = Town/Crew" - that's on him to fix and not others to ignore. If people want to punish him and use his tells against him, just like using a tells when someone has the nuts in (even homegame friendly) Poker, both are fair game.
- he can even manipulate that and use Crew tells when he's Impostor. Alternatively, just eliminate it all together.
- to his credit, 5up has in the past has said "I wanna work on it, but just want my Crew to sound more excited as opposed to Impostor more bored"
In his defence, I think it's a tell that's slightly stronger than the "Hafu Stretch = Impostor" tell but not 100%.
I think the whole "hafu using meta" thing is because she used to cry so hard about it when people used it against her. I've always seen it as completely fair, it's half the reason Steve does so well, because you never know if he is messing around or not. Where Hafu has very distinctive play styles and vocal tells depending on what she plays.
I'm just very confused. He sounded "bored" per what Hafu said, but they voted him out thinking he was an imposter because he sounded bored? But his "tell" usually indicates crew, so why would they vote him out for being imposter if he sounded crew via his tell. Obviously Steve would bc of exec., but their reasoning for him was a little off. Who really cares about tells anyway, it is part of the game. Just in this situation his "tell" was opposite of what they were using it for, so it made absolutely no sense to me.
@@Ashfer2 Well in the end Hafu didn't think it was 5up and didn't vote for him. Steve obviously voted 5up, and DD voted not only because he was the alternative vote, but because he kind of tunneled on the common task thing. Then we just need the two imposters to jump on board and 5up's out easily.
@@nasecoo I mean I get that, she just didn't pronounce the "You're bored so your obviously crew" like I've heard her do before. But the reasoning everyone was giving right before that just didn't make much sense. I understand there are imposters and executioner jumping on it, I just meant it seemed like she was calling him out simultaneously for being imposter/crew at the same time, which was part of the reason it gave everyone ample opportunity to jump on it so easily, for the few crew that were left I mean lol. Idk, just the tell of him being crew doesn't really seem to matter here as if he sounded like an imposter they would have thrown him out then too. And yes my responses are always drawn out, I'm not very succinct.
@@Ashfer2 out of all the “Tells”, I will say “5up sounds bored = Crew” is probably stronger than the “DK Really” and “Hafu Stretch” tells in reliability.

To answer myself, I will concede only Steve and DumbDog have played every single modded Morning Lobby, but the core regulars are almost always playing too (all with 100+ games)

2021 stats were only done for a few weeks when they played one map but overall I don’t think win rate stats are that revealing in general. That’s especially for crew, where you can often win without contributing anything, but for imposters it’s a lot easier for some players to win just based on the lobby dynamics.
Modded is a whole different story and an entire different game. Most importantly, this isn’t nearly even just the only big streamer lobby. A lot of good players out there and right now only Dumbdog IMO even compares.
@Howiedoit idk. I think Dumbdog, 5up, Hafu and Smajor are all on a somewhat level of among us play imo. They just take the games more serious than most. Where as Steve wins just off pure athleticism. If he put the work in it would not be fun for anyone.
@@robertmiller1471 in modded I can’t really speak for Scott, he doesn’t play much, but I don’t think Hafu and 5up have been particularly good at all. They both play it like it’s normal Among Us and often don’t account for the other things going that can happen. A good example was the Steve sheriff game from a few videos back where Hafu might’ve thrown it if not for Dumbdog making the right reads and hard clearing Ellum.
@@Howiedoit yeah in modded 5up's reads aren't great, Hafu's crew role usage isn't great, and Scott isn't as good as the others mentioned + doesn't have the experience. Dumbdog has more notable crew plays, picks up on the game flow and role details better, and overall balances his crew and imposter gameplay and minimizes his range better than the rest.

100% would be on 5up to hide his tells, the only meta you should not do is open each others streams. But voice tones is fair game in this lobby, always has been.
That said you did have "problems" in this lobby with weird statements, like "5up is still alive so he must be imposter".
Statements like these you should not make as it makes it unfair.

sure, you can dislike the rule she made. but it's 2022, let's just pretend that rule ("no voice metagaming") never existed or was enforced.
I'm so happy Steve won this game. Mrs. Hypocritical Hafu accusing 5up and Dumbdog because they are not giving any information (what the hell is she giving? Sour fruits as information), and she suddenly changing her vote at last seconds because 5up sounds bored meta.

Hafu was trying to gather info from crew. Which is something you should definitely be doing on 6 and especially when you yourself don't have enough info to make a solid guess. Dumbdog and 5up weren't providing or trying to gather info which is uncharacteristic of them when they ARE crew. Which is why she was digging in on them. She zeroed in on Dumbdog because 5up has a stronger vocal tell for his crew games and when you're not being given helpful info to deduce who could be imp, you gotta go with what you DO have which is why she voted Dumbdog.
It's not hypocritical to not have info in a meeting and then wonder why two of the most vocal players aren't trying to gather intel or provide info on 6. She tried getting info. They didn't.
I hope we don't have another resurgance of unwarranted Hafu hate for her simply existing.
