When I see emotional animations like this about Shadow, I want to reach out and comfort him (even though he is fictional), but then I also want someone to come comfort me, as I remember how much I have in common with him.
Why is Shadow ALWAYS the character that makes me friggin cry? EVERY. TIME? This was flipping gorgeous, not enough is said about Shadow's relationship with Maria.

Fans call him a calm protector of Earth who made a promise to his closest friend to protect the planet she loved soo much. He is a more developed version of Sonic who how it is like to lose someone very close to you due to which he is ready to throw himself infront of disaster his friends are facing like in 06 where Shadow comes infront of Rouge when Iblis appears. But according to SEGA, Shadow thinks of Sonic as someone below him. He is nothing but a rival to Sonic. He has no friends and hates friends. I just hate this recent incarnation of Shadow who has lose all the character development he had in SA2, Heroes and 06.

With how tragic his character is, I don't blame him for wanting solitude for a while, but I am glad that Rouge gave him this chance to let him know he's not alone anymore. He doesn't have to suffer alone. If he needs to cry, he's allowed to go to the people who cherishes him. Shadow, you're not alone.
Wow this is amazing I love it soo much soo heart breaking and sweet!! Everything was made soo well from the song choice to the panels to the facial expressions to the actual animation paceing like WOW SOO GOOOD!!! I saw this first on tumblr and just had to comment here too this is soo cute I love every bit amazing The end had me man I almost cried !!

its a good thing this was so short anymore and i would have started crying my eyes out i swear i don't like what sega is doing to shadow's character cause of sonic forces i really disliked shadow but im thinking here and im like its not his fault its sega's for ruining him cause i really hated what he did to infinite but i watched this vid and thought really hard and holding back tears which is hurting my throat is its not shadow's fault shadow is not bad he is immortal and immortal beings act differently from mortals but just like us they try to live and survive so what im trying to say is im sorry shadow for treating u so badly all these months im no longer mad at u " hugs shadow plush as tightly as possible without breaking him"...sigh...sorry just had to get this off my chest im going to try my best to remember him as he was instead of how he is now my fav hero...that is all nya..p.s noone has read this i just felt like commenting this i don't care if u don't care..well bye bye nya!!

I lost a loved one recently so I’ve been really relating to shadow hard as of late. This made me straight up bawl.
