This is what good writing, loved characters and perfect characterisation looks like. Something new EE has nothing of to the point where they’re bleeding Judith Bernstein dry
The actor who played the Jewish husband was Irish, he died in real life months after this was broadcast. What i never got with this story is why he left Janine bugger all if he thought so much of her? Didn't he leave everything to the dog's home? Also obviously she was marrying him for the cash; it is hardly a shock or revelation. After all what 25 yo [her character's age here] would marry a frail and elderly man with bad health in his 80s and near death's door unless he had cash?
It’s a tradition for the groom to stamp his foot down on a glass once he has been confirmed legally married according to Jewish law at Jewish weddings. I learned this from one of my Jewish friends.
"That is NEVER the GROOOOOM"
Quote to end all quotes: "She's about as Jewish as a bacon sandwich" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Best line LOL
"She's about as Jewish as a bacon sandwich" one of my favourite lines ever in EastEnders.
'And she's about as Jewish as a bacon sandwich'. I love this quote.
I would also say she's as Jewish as a cheese burger!
Jainine
Yeah that was a great line
This whole clip is hilarious from start to finish 😂
The way Pat said " family died in a plane crash they?" 🤣
And lo and behold Judith Bernstein is BACK… after 13 years!

The chemistry between Pat St. Clement and Charlie Brookes is unmatched

He died on the wedding day from a heart attack when he discovered the news.
@@ruairievansthe original comment meant the actor died a few months after the broadcast after this episode. Not the character.
Bride and beautiful dreams ✨️ 💖 💛 💕
Groom stomped on glass at 1:40.

If it was Claire, don't you think she'd recognise Ricky and Pat?
Makediachu de fadlimbo
I think the writer could be antisemitic bcos the innocent Jews here r portrayed as cold calculating characters!
No….Janine is portrayed as one
I don’t know where you are getting that idea from
