Purina Pro Plan Making Pets Sick?!

- Have you heard that Purina Pro Plan is making pets sick?! Currently, this is being driven by social media alone. The claims are entirely anecdotal and there is no evidence to support the allegations.
Fortunately, the FDA and Purina are doing the right thing and testing each batch of food that has been associated with an illness. That’s actually a huge benefit of feeding food from a large company; small or boutique pet food companies usually can’t go back and test individual batches after distribution.
If you’re feeling Pro Plan, I dont see any valid reason to stop at this time. Remember, suddenly switching food can actually cause GI upset.
However, if you do think that your dog became ill after eating a commercially available pet food, please report it to the FDA, and take both your pet and the bag of food to your veterinarian.
I will update you IF there any evidence is uncovered to support these claims. In the meantime, remember that not all data is good data and that not everybody on social media knows what they are talking about.

Why would you remotely take a chance on continuing to feed Purina and trust it to the health of your pet. Big conglomerates will deny until they can’t. Why take a chance. Show us your Vet credentials, please.
I mean no ody needs to see credentials to tell people to think for themselves
One thing that can make your dog sick is switching food abruptly!
Dr. Judy Morgan sent out a bunch of samples from the supposed bad food to independent labs and they all came back as nothing found.
My dog was sick and throwing up \ diarrhea and is on PPPlan, come to find out she had giardiasis and swallowed 2 socks so it had nothing to do with her food.Fine after being treated for giardiasis.
Okay, so the owner of that group’s dog died during the Hill’s vitamin D debacle. There was a class action lawsuit, Hills admitted fault. There absolutely WAS evidence that her dog died from Hill’s food. It was even admitted by Hill’s.
This hullabaloo about Purina could well be hysteria and misinformation, but when you start out by slandering/misrepresenting this woman it shows me that you either have not looked into this situation fully, or you are lying. Disappointed.
I have already talked to my attorney. They will be contacting her.
If you are transparent about what One pet at the times said: food COULD be the issue. It is serious enough that it is considered a safety signal and apparently the FDA is enquiring and most probably Purina too. As you probably know, safety signals arise periodically. This is how we can detect issues in food or pharmaceuticals. It is veterinarian's job and ultimately pet owner's job to report to FDA any suspicious safety concerns and that is what they do. It could be a real issue or just an internet trends.
It could be but you would think with the volume of pet parents that feed Purina Pro Plan that there wouldn't be a handful of cases. there would be thousands of cases. And veterinarians would see an uptick in unexplained illness or deaths. This is most likely a hoax done by two influencers to make money at the expense of pet parents.

due respect to this vet, i have an 8 month old golden retriever that we were feeding pro plan from 6weeks onward. we essentially had 6 months of him shitting in his kennel overnight. daytime. didn’t matter. we had vet visits. probiotic. antibiotics, stool c+s and o+p. nothing. we changed to blue buffalo sensitive stomach and his stool was normal overnite. he gained weight. he’s happier and his coat looks healthy. pretty big coincidence if just that. i realize goldens can have sensitive stomachs. also there’s a fucking golden puppy on the bag and it came highly recommended. i would stay away from pro plan.
There not going to poison all the bags. That would be too obvious.
You've got to be kidding. No way would i trust that company. And why wouldn't you believe people when their pets suddenly get sick? You just aasume they are wrong and the food is fine.

I knew nothing of the rumors & only recently found it because I believe it is the purina pro plan making my dogs sick. I have vet bills on both my dogs. The vet was stumped of the cause of the violent diarrhea. I happened to start wondering about the food & looked up to see if other pets on the food have the same suspicious symptoms. I really believe that it's the food.
Well my cat is about to go to the vet. Hope he makes it. Hes not looking good. He just started eating this food 5 days ago. He couldn't use the box, wouldnt eat, and refuses water. He passed a small amount 2 days ago and it was diarrhea. Yesterday a small bloody piece. Today he wont move, and is laying still. His symptoms started a little over 48 hours ago but he has declined quickly, and fortunately there is an emergency vet..an hour away! 😢
I gave my dog wet Purina dog food, crapped out everything he at the past week plus blood. He hasnt poop solid ever since i gave him that.
Thank you for mentioning me in your video. I do have proof that my dog died from Science Diet. I have contacted my attorney and you will be hearing from me regarding this video. I won the class action lawsuit against Hills in 2021.
Wow It cat food too ! I have 3 sick cats sick feral cats and my friend lost 10 farm cats .

The lady won the Lawsuit from her dog dieting. It’s not right to lie especially when people can look it up and know your not telling the truth. People do research don’t just believe people that say they are a vet especially someone on youtube
My dogs been eating it for over 2 yrs with no problems whatsoever, do what you think is right for you, but just saying

Makes sense its not like there aren't a bunch of other factors in every dog's life that could affect a certain percentage of the dog population at any given time. Thanks for the video
Literally losing sleep over this my pupoy keeps me going everyday and i got 2 bags of ppp sport 20/30 for a great deal and im scared to start her on it but the food i feed now open farm is 130$cad a bag for not even a month
Talk to your veterinarian. Don't take feeding advice off of people from Facebook TikTok or UA-cam. Your best bet is always your veterinarian.
Open Farm is great quality pet food. Purina feed whether or not it’s making pets sick is not quality food. Ultra processed kibble does not equal quality.

Whether or not she is a vet, She is giving very good information. There is nothing convincing about that web page or the hoax that these influencers are trying to perpetrate on the thousands of pet parents who feed Purina Pro Plan. The influencers such as Rachel Fucero and the holistic veterinarian, Dr Becker, are just trying to make money off of this. And it's disgusting.

She has an Instagram page. Her TikTok was actually hacked, leading to the account's deletion. She had to start over.
I am suggesting that whoever started this page is possibly the same person who hacked her TikToc, looking to make a profit of of her image and videos that she posted on Instagram.
